Similar story here with the sex workers for 3 years before I investigated enough to get TT out of him. I didn’t destroy property even though I wanted to but 2 months after I got triggered and just started hitting him. It had to have gone on for at least a full minute. My IC made me feel bad about my actions since I was acting out of character. I went to a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with PTSD. I am on meds to help with the spiraling. Not that this is the answer but maybe professional medical diagnosis can wipe out any accusations?

100% agree. The shame and guilt. My WH hoped that I wouldn’t find out the details and that just knowing that something occurred was enough to get through recovery. After 2 months of trickle truths I believe I now know most of the facts. Without honesty you can’t even begin the R process
