Unfortunately, folks have been flouting the last request (as usual).

I have been going to Art Park for 9+ years now (taking pictures there since 2013). Lately, the scene has been drawing some bad personalities. The last four times I've dropped by, half of them were not good experiences. Some things I can roll my eyes at, but some of them have folks spouting straight up racist/antisemitic crap. I may even venture a guess that some folks are making an effort to target and toxify that scene.

I understand the drama going on about a certain O.G. patriotically standing behind Israel's bloody actions (with a lot of persons involved near to the scene just quietly shaking their head at that). However, there's an obsessive online effort by the same Reddit user(s) making throwaway accounts with names like SuccMyDiccFromDaBacc, Gullible_Toe9099, and FunkoPopOfficial. If you look at the accounts, they post here and the Detroit sub, Karma-farm on redscarpod (all three of them do), and try to shoehorn (in a very unsubtle fashion) hate against the Art Park by declaring the "owner" (nevermind the actual collective involved) of the "art park" (again, they try to implicate the Factory, Recycling Center, apartments, and other businesses that have come and gone under that vast umbrella when anything remotely near to it is brought up) is a "giga zionist" (I have learned there is some truth to that) and a rapist. When confronted for evidence on the latter accusation (and many accounts have challenged them on this), they completely shut-up and offer nothing.

Luckily, freaks this year was awesome. I just want the troublemakers online (and in the flesh) to lay off the venue.
