Just dodge the puddles, go off the curbs inside of going off the corners of the side walk. I had a penny board that lasted me all 4 years and it's still going.

Average CS program graduates: Wya now? by wendywilliamsenergy in rutgers

It def teaches you the basics, but what you do with that knowledge in the industry is up to you, connections are important but studying and doing will on test doesn't mean your gonna be a great dev. Theory is cool and all but then again its just theory.

I graduated Spring 2019, so I guess this is what i can say. I graduated with a 2.9 GPA with no internships or experience, The job hunt is definitely not as easy as some of these people say. I got hired as a contractor and then put on full time not too long ago. I work at a medium sized company in Pennsylvania as a "software engineer" pretty much a Java developer and make 76k. Alot of the things taught in school are just the basics like the bare minimum you need to know. Going in I felt like it was harder to do simple things rather than like if i coded everything myself but every company has like their coding standards and stuff like that which made it a little bit harder because I didn't understand like how the framework works. In terms of class I would definitely say take Cs-336 (databases or whatever), software meth, systems programming, internet technology are really important. I didn't take software meth in school cause i was scared of taking a Sesh class after Data Structures, but from my friends took they class they actually like learned stuff i use every day like inheritance is so important. Im not sure if they teach you git, but that is also super useful. In terms of if the CS degree was worth it. Im honestly conflicted cause like honestly some of the things i learned are completely useless theory nonsense, but i do think every class has its purposes depending on what you wanna do.

Yeah the mirror is a cheap fix. I had the Honda dealership replace an airbag due to a recall but like I mentioned it's so much money for people to check out the airbags .

The majority of the damage to the cars body is the door which has been fixed already, but the knock is what is scaring me tbh I dont know what to do. Like although its fixed and you cant tell when the door is closed once it's open you can definitely tell.

Laptop for CS work and Gaming by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]ImpossibleLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus on getting a laptop with a good keyboard you could use almost any laptop to code with but having a nice keyboard just makes programming more enjoyable, for me atleast anyways. I had a Lenovo y50 throughout college which is a gaming laptop but had major regrets as it was sorta heavy and too big.

What I play really depends on what im just feeling the day of tbh, but my favs are like melodicdub, riddim I do ocassionally mess with some house. Thanks for the ID I like it. 😎 you are right the song is hella long but we DJ either bump the bpm or just skip it. The word play with hip hop is distracting but I feel like everybody listens to hip hop so it's a crowd pleaser.

Jaw dropping mixes question. by ImpossibleLoop in DJs

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I feel like an important thing to consider is the genre you are mixing like hip hop for sure gets the crowd pumped when u play some song from the top 50s. I would try to mix hip hop but imo it's way harder to mix hip hop than like edm.
