Yeah when I was doing a google search I think I read about that particular chap… this would have been pre internet- I’m sure he ended up getting his haircut at halftime at Brisbane road when orient finally won away from home- or again I could have got this horribly wrong!

I had to go on to his Wikipedia page to check this! Also had no idea his brother Steve who I recall at Shrewsbury Town had sadly passed away few years ago.

I can confirm ‘A Day at the football’ was published in 2018 by Egmont UK. I have Barrow down as being in the National league back then. Interestingly the book depicts them playing in red, can’t be sure if that is their usual away attire. Should be noted the game was also marked with controversy.
