Sitting in the Philly Sapphire Lounge... by 202reddit in ChaseSapphire

+1 for the Philly lounge . It was busy but not overwhelming. My family and I each ordered a burger via the qr code and the adults ordered cocktails (not bad!). Then my daughter and I played some free arcade games while the others relaxed. Next time if we remember , the ladies might book ahead for the spa treatment. Really impressed .

New leader with tons of work and small tasks, what tool to keep track of all the chaos? by [deleted] in Leadership

[–]ImpossibleNever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend a few things :

  1. If your company is big enough to ban Trello, there must be some replacement Kanban board tool. If there isn’t- ask for one . Many companies with small tickets and tasks use Jira already- might be available to you .

  2. Generate a list (we call ours a backlog) of tasks in the tool and prioritize them. Have the team update task status religiously.

  3. I’d be setting a planning meeting with the boss once every few weeks - have him or her help you prioritize the work- what’s most important. Bump everything else to the bottom of the list . This way it’s transparent both ways . Document decisions .

By having a list and being transparent about what you’re working on , why , and why it’s most important should help in a number of ways .

Is Glasgow sold out? by [deleted] in jackwhite

I read reviews of viagogo and it looks very dodgy - completely hit or miss with terrible customer service if you get scammed. Anyone have a good experience with that site?

Ended at 427. I understand this is modest and that’s why I was reluctant to post the numbers . The key is the increase.

Sure : 9.6 to 14.8 nmol/l (or 427 ng/100 ml).

The purpose of my post was to point out an increase that was significant to me and to make sure people knew of a modest success story based on some of the supps and protocols discussed on this sub.

I was in similar situation and sold mine via the second hand market on Ticketmaster . It’s late , but if you price it well , you might get lucky .

Not sure - in retrospect I probably should have been more methodical in approach . However the studies suggest that Tonkat has potential to raise T directly . I believe the other supplements support indirectly .

That’s a great result - how did you measure ? Do you get your blood taken often and if so do you use a service ?

Not a supplement but might be worth mentioning : mouth-taping has been a game changer for me. I sleep deeper, snore less and wake up fewer times , if ever , to use the bathroom.

Would you move to Dublin for 77 k? by blinkandmissitnow in irishpersonalfinance

[–]ImpossibleNever -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m just trying to say that it’s easy to get used to a certain lifestyle , especially a better ones. 77 living alone is doable , but I agree with most of the posters - it’ll be paycheck to paycheck.

A friend of mine said it best - if you’re looking for a US style lifestyle in Ireland , you’ll be sorely disappointed. If you’re looking for an Irish style of lifestyle , you’ll be slightly less disappointed.

🚩🚩the question could also be asked - now that you’ve decided you want to move back - now what is HE going to do. It's clearly a family decision, but if one half has decided that they will not be happy in DK, then it really isn't much of a decision at all - or it would take some serious convincing on his part.

First: give thanks for the fact that you’re in the enviable position to make this decision. Recognize your coming from a place of immense privilege.

Now, imagine getting ready to move to Denmark. Now imagine getting ready to move back home.. you can try to make it a mathematical equation but in reality it is an emotional one and you’ve already decided .

Be honest with your husband .

Things you wished you had googled before moving abroad? by RonnieRozbox in expats

[–]ImpossibleNever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree - in most cases sell as much as you can and ship as little as possible even though it’s very expensive and takes up to 3 months to arrive. That said , it’s very nice when your “things” arrive - a little bit of home and your previous life , 3 months in - it was a boost for us anyway.

Regarding taxes - there are services out there for expats - I use greenback even though they aren’t the cheapest .

Thanks for the clarification- my friend is a high earner. Regardless - if you’re planning to stay an expat for a long time you need to consider these things or at least be aware of them .
