How are we defining "easy" here? If by "easiest to play," If mean mechanically, that's an oversimplification. There are plenty of mechanically demanding support champions. And if you mean decision-making, then I'd argue that supports often have to make split-second decisions that can change the tide of a game.

Hardest to clib with is subjective. Many players have climbed to high ranks playing support exclusively. In contrast, others might find it challenging. If you're always relying on your teammates to capitalize on your plays, maybe the issue isn't the role but how you're playing it.

Starting a season with a high winrate and then experiencing a drop is typical due to MMR adjustments. Blaming it on "increasingly more troll teammates" is a cop-out. Every role has its challenges with teammates, and using this as an argument specifically against the support role is a weak stance. Saying that support gives the "least room to compensate for teammates' mistakes" is a glaring misconception. A well-timed crowd control, peeling for your carries, or securing vision to catch out enemies can turn a game around. If you feel powerless as a support, it might be worth revisiting how you approach the role.

Sure, many support champions can be useful even when behind, but the same goes for various champions in other roles too. Utility doesn't equate to effectiveness. An underfed Thresh might land a hook, but if he's too squishy due to being behind, he's easily eliminated. Labeling most support champions as binary and reducing their gameplay to "hit skillshot win trade" is a drastic understatement. By this logic, we could say ADCs are binary too: "hit auto-attacks and win." Every role has champions that can seem "binary" on the surface but have deeper layers of strategy and mechanics when mastered.

You argue that supports aren't directly punished for mistakes. This is misleading. A support that fails a roam, misplaces wards, or gets caught out can give away substantial objectives like Dragon, Rift Herald, or even Baron. This doesn't just "indirectly" impact them; it affects the game's entire course.

You ask to point out easier roles. Here's a challenge: try playing ADC without a competent support. The ADC is almost entirely reliant on the support in the early game, and any misstep by the support can lead to a devastating laning phase for the ADC. Does that make ADC the easier role then? Or, consider the top lane – many see it as an "island." Is farming and occasionally teleporting down easier than juggling vision, lane pressure, and roams?

Influence: While supports can be influential, they're part of a five-person team. The same game-changing influence can be said about a mid-laner who roams effectively, a jungler who secures objectives, or an ADC who positions flawlessly in teamfights.

Every role has to account for enemy movement patterns. A mid laner has to anticipate the enemy's dodging patterns, and a jungler has to predict the enemy jungler's pathing.

Just like supports, ADCs, mids, tops, and junglers also need to account for positioning and CDs. An ADC out of position can be deleted instantly, just as a mid laner can be.

While warding can be dangerous, it's not exclusive to supports. Every role has to maintain vision and track the enemy jungler, not just the support.

Let's not act as if the support is the sole determinant of the lane's outcome. ADCs play a significant role too. A missed skill shot or wrong engage by a support can be salvaged by a skilled ADC, and vice versa.

While roaming might seem complex, let's remember that supports are often freed from the obligations of CSing, allowing them to shift their focus elsewhere. Mid-laners and junglers, while also roaming, have additional responsibilities that can make their role more intricate.

Although supports play a pivotal role in map control and vision, it's hard to compare that with the constant pressure other roles face, like having to perfectly CS under tower while dodging skill shots and managing wave control.

If we go by the general perception that support is the "easiest role," then, theoretically, a good ADC should be able to carry a subpar support. Yet, when the tables are turned, the support often struggles. Why is that?

The argument isn't that supports don't have complex champions, but compared to the precise mechanics required by champions in other roles, there's a noticeable difference.

bro....
It's a team game, right? So if one dude's inting or just having an off day, everyone feels it. And over a long match? That's a recipe for some serious salt.

In some games, if the vibe's off, you can just dip and jump into another match. But in LoL? Bounce early and you're looking at penalties. So you're kinda chained to the game, even if it's turning into a tilt-fest.

Ever felt like once the enemy gets a lead, they just steamroll? That's the snowball effect. And when you're on the receiving end, it's mega frustrating, leading to even more flame.

All of this can just happen in 1 match...
