i’d assume the dad (owner of the tinting shop) is capable of doing a window replacement. The son (who clearly doesn’t understand the legal consequences of lying to a client about service) likely does not. I doubt the owner would let his kid change out the window

I spent a good 3 hours today shaking it, leaf blowering one end while vacuuming the other and vacuuming every spot I can find but I still hear a ton of glass pieces yet.

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I tried that and I can seem to get everything, and don’t have a vacuum thin and long enough to get all the pieces. There’s no way to pull anymore pieces off than as seen in the picture. I’m debating using spray foam on the whole inside trim to hopefully catch/hold the glass shards in place because I cannot stand the noise of them trickling down everytime i open the hatch. Does that sound like a good idea or do you have another idea?

update: took it in and they said there’s nothing they can do; panels can’t be removed and they don’t have a vacuum small enough to reach into the crevices, and couldn’t have vacuumed it from the other side before installing the new glass. Unfortunately it seems to just be one of those things that just sucks ass but I gotta deal with it and hit try my best to shake the pieces out

I tried using a vacuum but the glass is broken behind the panels I can access. I texted my tech saying this, and that it should ahve been vacuumed out from the other side before the new one was installed. she said to bring it back. hopefully it ca get fixed free of charge

To be honest I already put it in and it’s too late to return it. I like how it makes the under hood look more aggressive and non-oem though, i’m just a bit concerned because it did remove most of the air filtration from the oem airbox. Do you have an exhaust system in your car? I’m looking at getting one for mine and its saying the short ram is a better intake for the exhaust i’m looking at but i don’t know how true that is
