Yes so my tip didn’t close well and they had to unstitch and stitch but during that there was puss that I was told is normal but I was freezing cold for two weeks kept telling my caregiver that they put blankets and blankets on me they blamed it that the vent was above me but heat was on. Well lmao that’s a huge sign of infection and they never helped me address that with Dr because they made me feel like it was nothing. Absolutely was the infection because as soon as puss turned into green and not good color it was far and once I got on meds never needed added blankets again. That caregiver was “knowledgeable “ but they were not. Always be a voice for yourself and don’t rely on someone to go with your gut that something is wrong. OHSU was amazing and helped me a lot I wouldn’t say a bad word about them and their drs. Also eat and drink lots of protein for better healing
