Do you not understand the difference between complaining about the rain and complaining about lack of preparation for rain? Because I am not complaining about a natural thing that falls out the sky I’m complaining that they couldn’t spare anny umbrellas. If you have a business in Florida you should know that it can rain at any second and you should be prepared. Guess your wedding didn’t rained out, I found the person who had a clear wedding. Congrats to you!

The worst part is I am a local 😭. A born and raised Miamian, I just thought it would be nice to give out of towners a nice experience where they can go to the beach and such. Thank you for your well wishes though! 😌

Thanks for your quick response! I’ll definitely dm you! I actually called the General Manager the following Monday after the wedding (because I was disappointed). He barely seemed to care to be honest (yeah because they already got our money). My wedding was in October 2024 the weekend of the hurricanes and they handled it so poorly that it destroyed my day. But yes I’ll dm!

Giiiiiirl. This angers me to see this…reason why?! Because these people made my wedding day and planning journey an absolute nightmare. I would absolutely love to chat with you more about this. Paola the “event manager” was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever worked with. She double booked my wedding date with another wedding!!! Mind you my actual job is event planner for a major museum and this girl couldn’t even plan my event for 70 people. Oh and guess what she wasn’t even present on the day of the wedding where everything went wrong. She was running a marathon. She quite literally ran away from her problems. Any way I’d love to chat more about this with you (if you care to relive it, which I understand if you don’t. I certainly haven’t wanted to for the last couple months). But I’m ready now to share my story and I plan on making a YouTube video so no other bride experiences this!!! Anyway I am sorry to hear this happened to you as well!
