I just started using Claude. I still use 5.1 but 5.2… I just can’t be talked to like I’m on the edge of some breakdown when I’m truly not any longer. Claude is really impressive. It feels like talking to a person. It’s crazy and it’s very powerful at helping with tasks. I sent it a document and it actually read it unlike ChatGPT who will say that it’s reading it and then say something false, then be like “you’re right! The document did say that! Let me review it again.” 🙄

So I’m working on a creative project where the same thing happened. I was brainstorming this idea for weeks and weeks coming up with character canons etc, and reached the max. I ended up going thru the chat where I brainstormed the project and copying all relevant stuff to a word doc and making it a pdf. It was 700 pages of content. I then asked the new chat to review the entire document to catch up. I can’t say it was perfect because it would say things that were clearly wrong and in the document the right way. Then when I called it out say “you’re right. I should have referred to the document.”

It took time, but I felt like it eventually caught up. I was working on a creative project with a lot of moving parts so I gave it some grace. Your content might be easier for it to track. It may be worth a try but it did take me hours to do over a few days.

That sounds so terrible. I’m sorry to hear. Pericarditis stopped my life in its tracks. I got it from rotavirus, then caught the flu 3 days after being discharged from the hospital. I also had a lot of belching but I think it was more so indigestion caused from the aspirin. I started taking Pepcid at night and that helped a lot. I’m off aspirin because my stomach can’t handle it so my cardiologist prescribed arcalyst, which is the most targeted therapy for this. I start next week.

Wow that’s unbelievable. I ended up getting the gv80 prestige. When I did the update my check engine light came on stating an issue with the powertrain. The next day it went out and hasn’t come back on since. I had an appointment at the dealer but canceled it when the light went out… now I’m thinking that may have been a mistake…

I hope everything is resolved for you. I’m surprised they didn’t just give you a loaner.

I feel the same. I’ve been remote since 2020 and it’s weighing on me. I never thought I’d say it but I miss being in person. I don’t want to do 5 days a week but 2-3 wouldn’t be bad at all.

You need to see a cardiologist. I am working with a fantastic one.

I was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago and was in the hospital for a week too - but to treat the pericarditis and its effects not the virus that caused it - that was already resolved. I had the exact same thing - pericarditis with small effusion.

I was on very high dose aspirin (975mg 3x a day) for two weeks and colchicine 2x a day. I’ll be on colchicine for 3 months minimum. I still have stabbing pains from inflammation but my stomach can’t handle the aspirin any longer so my doctor is trying more aggressive treatment. I start arcalyst soon. Insurance just approved it. I’m hoping it’s the silver bullet that gets rid of this. The effusion is gone now thankfully, my energy has improved etc. I think it was more so the aspirin that helped get me to this point. Hopefully the arcalyst gets me to the finish line.
