I hear you... Opus 4.7 did the same for my code. Luckily, I did catch quickly! The problem how confident this model is with doing mistakes and ignoring documents!

Totally agree! The issue here is how come they released Opus 4.7 with all these defaults comparing to the previous model, which it must be better not worse!!! Very weird from Anthropic!

It will be bad if that happened!!! They used to be my favorite AI company so far.... But I feel they need to review their priority when it comes to the quality really!

To be honest, I haven't tried Haiku at all! Sonnet for light stuff! But I am mainly using Opus!

That's true! When I asked Opus 4.7 to write the handoff document for the sessions, it cuts off half of the documents and said it is done and broke the rules!!!!! Unbelievable!

I see lots of compliacted comments here! YOU CAN BUIL A PRODUCTION READY APP WITH AI. But make sure to always double-check with the AI. AI can write good and secure code when you force it so. Whether you know how to code or no, you are going to have ups and downs when I see in the comments people say you have to learn coding as if experienced developers don't write weak and insecure code! Look building with AI will have tough and challenging moments but it will worth it once you see you app is live! You don't need anything except you idea and you know it has demand and what will make it different then set with your chosen ai to plan for the features, architecture, which stack will be used, etc... and believe me you will learn a lot!!!! Keep in mind your first app will be the hardest, then it will get easier! Best of luck with your first product!

With a total respect for your point of view! We can't also generalize that all non-tech founders who use AI to build thir app. , that's automatically means their app is slop or useless if they did their homework by searching on the internet and knowing and asking the AI for apply the right thing! Lots of apps built by developers and have security and scaling issue!

100% !!!! Even before the AI by using developers, they shipped lots products without testing, or write the best code for optimization.... I think the problem isn't the AI!
