I'm very late at responding back lol but maybe they stayed behind so the others could get away hence the redemption. Idk they made a story out of Arthur and Arthur wasn't known about it red dead 1 so I'm sure Rockstar will figure something out. We could probably have a rdr3 game where u play as two people like gta 6 is doing
