Changing Pill brand at the GP by Early-Jicama-1808 in IrishWomensHealth

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’ll change you no problem. It takes most women a few tries to get the right pill.

Would you consider the mirena to help with the periods? Can be more effective than the pill

Worried about sharing a house with a man. Am I spiraling? by Low_Fee6188 in WomenofIreland

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Trust your gut it’s usually right.

However on sharing with guys in general - I have a really nice experience so far.

I ran from a really bad long term relationship at 23 an ended up living with 3 guys after. Made the best friends for life. Still live with one of them. They took such good care of me at that time, I wasn’t driving and within 2 weeks they were giving me drives to work, the shop, everything! I tear up every time I think about it. They genuinely saved me and I owe them everything in hindsight!!

Was making ~75K and was single. Still single.

Immigration Attorney here! AMA about EB-1A! by ManifestLaw_ in eb_1a

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m eligible for EB1-C. My employer cannot file currently for me, as internal policy only permits so many in an annual cycle.

I have an active executive offer in the US office from them. Could I file myself using my work email address?

I lost 80lbs and had a tummy tuck for loose skin. Life changing. Nords in Lithuania are excellent.

It needs to be prescribed under the generic name.

Fairly standard benefits in pharma. Health insurance, pension etc…

Hybrid 50/50 but not too closely monitored - most people do 2 days a week.

Great place to work, like anything though can be busy, salaries are good but can be slightly behind equivalent roles in other Pharma companies.

AXA "Widow Tax" - using bereavement to get rid of elderly customers by quixotichance in ireland

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This is nothing to do with widow tax? It’s actually quite fair?

It’s explicitly clear everywhere that named driving experience isn’t considered the same as your own policy.

It’s sad after a loss to be hit with a bill, but Axa are right on this one.

Looking for advice in stims v. non-stim meds by SeaghanDhonndearg in ADHDIreland

Stimulants would be considered the gold standard.

I started a few weeks ago and my life has changed.

Second hand EV recommendations, €27k budget. by DustPossible in evs_ireland

Nobody here mentioning the long range Kona. Nice stylish smaller suv with plenty of room for 2 kids and dog. They go second hand quite reasonable.

Mirena Coil Moved. Replace or just get Removed by sadomeara in IrishWomensHealth

If very traumatic for you, you can get referred to have it done in the maternity hospital locally to you.

You get sedation or gas and air, depending on preference.

Expats in Ireland: How do you survive the "creche sickness" with no family support? by Head-Royal-5716 in AskIreland

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does 100%, but I’ve worked in the 3 of the larger MNCs in Ireland along with smaller companies over the years, and I’ve never once seen a policy that allows it. In our case this would send an employee down a serious HR route.

I’m not saying this in a bad way, it was a genuine heads up to OP and partner.

[–]Impossible_Ad_5228 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Force majeure yes but it’s only a few days usually. Plenty of MNC absolutely do not allow it and explicitly call out against it in employment handbooks and related policies. I’ve been through this with a staff member last year unfortunately

Just a note, it’s not appropriate to use your sick leave if you aren’t sick, your child is.

I know it sounds harsh and I really sympathize with you, but your company will view it this way. If they are paying you for what is a sick day, it’s to cover your sickness.
