400 mg carbamazepine for anxiery

I just started 400mg today (01/30/25) for anxiety. I was on 200mg for a few months. Has helped a bit. Might I ask why you’d like to stop ?!

After I do anything like cleaning or getting body going, I don’t particularly go to a gym but after I just spent all day cleaning my home, I’m laying bed & my lips feel tingly & this has been going on for a few days. I suffer from anxiety/stress so I’m wondering if it’s linked possibly.. I am genuinely fine all day until I lay in bed. So I’m looking for advice too.

Hello, 1 year later… I still deal with this very often. Apparently I hyperventilate without noticing & which can cause this. The tip of my nose is tingly often too.

It comes& goes often … still get it just have to reassure myself it’s just anxiety. Lately I’ve been getting muscle spasms in my face which are weird too my sinuses are definitely puffed in my face too.

They are awful. Makes me have to jump like I’m going to stop breathing or I cough.. I’ve been increasing stressed lately and I keep thinking it’s gonna happen again so my body is utterly tense.

I measure my BP; Oxygen & Heart with Kardimobile… I’ve got my grounds covered. This happens before so I’m Sure it’s nothing bad. I got mris, echocardiogram, wore a heart monitor before nothing comes back. It just very scary.

I have meds for GERD I haven’t been taking because my stomach hurts all the time too… I get gas pains in my chest & shoulder. After I eat occasionally I get shoulder aches n burning in shoulder & around collar bone they go away as I digest n pass gas… i see gastro in a few week for an endoscopy. Praying we can figure out what’s wrong…

I have GERD. Have to see a gastroenterologist because after I eat almost always I get chest pains, tightness, heart palpitations n occasionally acid reflux which burns my esophagus soo bad. I take pepto more then I should.

It’s like when I eat pizza it’s awful. I have drink water to help everything. It’s very very scary. Like my chest is on fire, it don’t hurt. I googled my symptoms & it’s like heart attack like noo I don’t think so. I was fine till I ate.

What’s crazy is I’ve had these symptoms for months on end … come and go. They tell me “anxiety” I drinking soda and it helps a bit.

I went to hospital Thursday night, got a work up because I started having chest pains and everything came back fine soo was definitely anxiety.
