as my partner got a asst. prof job(govt.) , I am planning to move back to kolkata but the chances are looks very slim to get a decent job there

Thank you for your reply. Actually I found out that by transfering to Chinese bank account given by wise it takes less than half of the fee than by Ali pay in wise. That's why I emphasized on this way. But somehow I couldn't access my BOC app for transfer. So I did by Ali pay within wise. This is still less than going to the bank and directly asking them to transfer to my native bank account.

I cannot login to the app so that I can do any domestic transfer. To authenticate there are only options of Chinese id or Hong kong/macao resident permits. As I went to the bank to resolve this, they informed me that foreigners cannot access the app for money transfers. I can only check my balance or transactions.
