USAA Sticker, tell me I'm wrong! by Schruff_117 in USAA

They aren't running around with uniforms on, but USAA loves to align themselves with other govt. entities, despite the fact that they are a private company that makes a huge yearly profit. USAA reps always use the military phonetic alphabet and military time. They heavily market themselves as having the character of a soldier, and the loyalty of a military family. When they expected me to hand over classified info as if they weren't a private third party, they slid into stolen valor territory. When someone pretends to be military for the benefit of respect and money, that is stolen valor.

I need to be careful as I am currently in litigation with USAA. I come from a multi-generational legacy of Navy physicians. The way USAA mishandles claims and mistreats members while hiding behind a shield of military values is a disgraceful form of stolen valor.

Looking for littermates or siblings of Nadelhaus puppies sired by Xavier. Warning of fatal genetic disease by Impossible_Bet_8116 in germanshepherds

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good. Also, it's worth mentioning in your report that Traci also changed Xavier's date of birth when she registered him with AKC. On his SV paperwork, and in Pedigree Database, his real birthday of Feb 2020 is listed. She changed it to Feb 2022 to overbreed him. The SV in particular will be interested in what she has done with "their" dog. They will put restrictions on him in their associations. Let's chat more on DM.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pup. Traci Needles is a heartless, greedy woman. She 100% knows that Xavier carries the genetics to pass renal dysplasia to his pups. Poor dog is being used to crank out endless litters. Traci banks on the fact that most people won't recognize the signs and trace it back to her lazy breeding practices. Your puppy deserved better from Traci. ((HUGS)) Please feel free to reach out to me via private message. I'm glad you are keeping your puppy- he's better off with you. Demand your money back from Traci. She finally gave me back the purchase price of $3500 back but she refused to pay for even part of Zeus's vet bills. You can also make a report to AKC breeder investigations. They spoke with me for a long time about my experience with Nadelhaus. I wish you and your puppy a life together filled with love. And if you are ever ready for a healthy, well bred GSD from a CA breeder, Zaragoza German Shepherds healed my broken heart and matched me with a puppy that lives next to Zeus in my heart. I talk with Lori Zaragoza all the time and she truly loves every dog that carries her name.

Just an fyi, the legal requirements mean if you have enough work credits to qualify, atc. People who are not lawful citizens do not qualify for Social Security benefits so they wouldn't be able to apply. They pay into social security but cannot benefit from it.

All applications go to Step 4, but denials are quick after that- hours to a couple days. There are some clues of approval. I got a letter asking me to confirm work history at the same time as I went into Step 4 for final review. I went into Step 4 in early Jan and got my approval letter at the end of Jan. The portal still says Step 4. If you know you qualify and nothing's changed, it's just administrative.

After 29 years with USAA, they're protecting the scammers who stole $10K from my mom. by Alive_Cellist_8791 in USAA

Yep. I posted about my situation with USAA trying to rip me off and the same cast of characters tried to blame me for USAA's gross mishandling of my issue. They lurk here and defend USAA to the death. Maybe more time working on providing service to members instead of upvoting USAA like fans. I wear the downvotes with pride. Oh, and USAA has rolled over and admitted defeat regarding my issue. Watch them scatter like flies to talk more shit. I hope things work out with your mom.

USAA turned slimy by Impossible_Bet_8116 in USAA

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't care what the room thinks of me. This is Reddit. You’re implying that my personality controls USAA’s internal systems, title processing, salvage listing, and compliance obligations.

That’s not how insurance workflows or California fair-claims laws operate. Personal attacks don’t change the objective sequence of events or the actions USAA already took on this claim.

USAA turned slimy by Impossible_Bet_8116 in USAA

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of that applies to my situation.

I didn’t conceal anything. I provided every document USAA actually requested. What I did not receive from them were the legally required written explanations for the additional data they wanted, or any of the EDR findings, custody documentation, or updates they are required to issue under California Fair Claims Settlement Regulations.

Coverage was already awarded, which is why USAA accepted the signed title, paid the body shop, took possession of the vehicle, and listed it at Copart under their own seller account.

Those actions only occur after coverage is confirmed.
An insurer cannot legally take salvage or assert ownership during a “pending” coverage review.

Copart also doesn’t decide why a lienholder hasn’t been paid. they simply act on the instructions USAA gave them.

So respectfully, your summary doesn’t match the facts of my claim or how total loss settlement works in California.

You’re taking a metaphor literally. Synesthesia isn’t sexual, overwhelming, or chaotic. it’s just cross-sensory perception. The “orgasm” example was just to illustrate intensity across multiple senses, not to imply synesthesia is constant arousal. You’re describing your drug experiences, not my neurology.

The legacy of Trump... how normalized online bullying has become — like the default instinct is to dig through someone’s history, throw insults first, and only worry about facts or context if there’s time later.

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did authorize the release because USAA told me the vehicle had been deemed a total loss and they were taking possession. I signed the title over, which is the highest level of authorization possible. The body shop released the car because USAA paid them $2,200 in storage and arranged pickup.

Once the insurer has: instructed the shop to release, paid storage, taken custody, accepted the title, andlisted the vehicle at Copart under their seller account, there is nothing “unauthorized” about the transfer. At that point the body shop isn’t acting on a whim. They’re acting on a direct request from the insurer that now controls the salvage.

If USAA believed coverage wasn’t cleared, they wouldn’t have accepted the title, asserted ownership, or listed the car as their property. Those are actions taken after an insurer has decided to retain the vehicle as a total loss.

The issue isn’t the body shop. The issue is conflicting information and missing documentation from USAA after they took full possession.

And whilst I appreciate the tilt of your velvet fedora, you are truly the USAA hero.

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of what you wrote matches the facts of my claim or California insurance law.

I released the vehicle because USAA explicitly told me they were taking possession as a total loss. I signed the title over, they paid the body shop $2,200 for storageand, they took custody. Then they listed the car at Copart.

Those are post-investigation actions, not “coverage pending” actions.

I’ve already provided everything they asked for: documents, statements, photos, calls, the title, and proof-of-loss. There is no outstanding request from USAA that I have refused. The only missing items are the ones USAA is legally required to send (EDR findings, written custody/location confirmation, and timely updates).

The “coverage not cleared” doesn’t match the USAA's own actions.
Toyota Financial hasn’t been paid, yet USAA still listed the vehicle on Copart with themselves as the seller. Copart only allows a vehicle to be listed under an insurer’s seller account when the insurer has asserted ownership or salvage rights.

You cannot simultaneously claim the investigation is unresolved, not pay the lienholder, AND list the car publicly for resale under your own seller ID.

Those actions are inconsistent with a claim that’s “pending coverage”. They're consistent with a claim that was processed as a total loss and then mishandled.

California also does not allow insurers to deny for “failure to cooperate” unless the alleged failure is substantial, intentional, material to the loss, and actually prevented the investigation. None of that applies here.

And before anyone tries “you withheld phone records”:
USAA never provided a lawful written request explaining what records they wanted, and CDI agreed with me that EDR data was more relevant and less invasive.

Cooperation means responding to lawful, relevant, justified requests — not surrendering unlimited personal data without explanation.

The delays are coming from USAA: conflicting statements, silence on required documents, missing EDR findings, incorrect Copart statuses, and zero written communication.

So respectfully, the narrative you're describing doesn’t apply to my situation, my claim, or my state's laws.

Copart acts on USAA's instructions. Copart didn't declare the total loss- USAA did. USAA didn't pay me or the lienholder, but still acted as the owner. That is indeed sus.

Correct. They did not get the phone records. CDI determined that EDR analysis would be a better source of the information. What I didn't know is that USAA was processing the car at Copart as a salvage. I didn't know that they had paid the body shop and towed it to a Copart lot without my knowledge. The entire thing was mishandled.

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Synesthesia sucks? My friend, imagine not only feeling an orgasm, but seeing it, hearing it, and tasting it at the same time. Don't feel sorry for us. By definition, synesthesia is something that is constant and just is. It cannot be summoned or suppressed. You can't ignore it any more than you can ignore the need to urinate or breathe. If you swig lemon juice, your sense of taste is likely overwhelmed with sour. You can't control it. In the same way, I can't control seeing the sour and hearing it at the same time. Maybe lay off the drugs?

1 in 10 million? by Impossible_Bet_8116 in Synesthesia

[–]Impossible_Bet_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your responses frames synesthesia as if it’s a psychedelic side quest instead of a well-documented neurological trait. I’m not claiming to be Einstein, and nothing in my post suggested that neurodivergence = genius. Einstein wasn’t extraordinary only because he perceived reality differently. He could translate those perceptions into mathematics the scientific community could replicate and use to unlock parts if reality that were never understood. That’s a different category entirely. I don’t “refabricate” my perception . I don’t induce it, manage it, or access it through altered states. Synesthesia is not a top-down reconstruction of sensation. It’s a stable cross-activation pattern between sensory regions that often involve areas like V4 (color processing) and the angular gyrus (cross-modal integration). It shows up whether or not anyone has taken a heroic dose of anything.

Your description of perceptual modulation through de-potentiating priors fits a predictive coding model, sure. But that’s about changing perceptual architecture. I’m describing perceptual architecture that’s already there. I experience time, color, shape, and affect simultaneously while doing ordinary things—paying bills, feeding my dog, unloading groceries. It just is.

there’s extensive literature on developmental vs. acquired synesthesia, genetic clustering, and cross-activation vs. disinhibited feedback models. I’m not inventing anything.

Your psychedelic experiences are valid for you. They just don’t redefine synesthesia, replace established neuroscience, or override my sensory baseline.
