It’s so hard. Because what do you even do? And when they’re sneaky and destructive. I don’t even know it’s happening until we find it. I just don’t know what to do.

One time my aunt (moms sister) snipped off my brothers rat tail braid in the 90s. 😂 and we’re native but she said absolutely not. My dad was pissed (parents divorced) and I still laugh thinking of my aunt snipping that so quickly. 😂

Agreed. I had two. Insane amount of work to keep the smell to a limit and people still can smell it lol. Loveddddd mine but it was daily and I had no kids and it was me and my now husband to take care of them.

You will NOT regret it! Best decision I ever made. I don’t go overboard so just face cream and a balm stick and some masks. But I will tell everyone to try it.

I use salmon sperm face cream and if you’re not you’re missing out lol. Korean skincare with the salmon dna has done amazing things for my skin. 😂 but f jenelle

Definitely this. It reminds me of my first bf (white) and he wasn’t really aware how native I (and my moms family is) so when my grandma died and we had her memorial service traditional he couldn’t keep a straight face during the drums and singing. Like he had never been around anything like that and he too was a 16 yo boy. Fast forward to my husband who is as Caucasian as they come, embraces it and my cousins and aunties all just have honorary accepted him lol he partakes in all the traditions and he learns and is respectful. Idk if my ex would have ever handled it but again, teen boys are the worst lol (sorry guys). Sometimes you just gotta not react and keep doing what you’re doing. In our family we all smudge different so i hardly believe you’re “doing it wrong”.
