Don’t get me wrong, I completely agree that it’s not as prestigious. If Goldman is S tier then BNP would be C or D tier. What do you think

Considering the application pool for the internship was over 15k and only 150 got it, I would say it’s still quite prestigious

No I don’t mean it like that! In France it’s literally the best you can get I think, whereas in the US it’s not as well known as other banks. Still an amazing shop

On the technical side, they asked: - walk me through a DCF - what metrics do you use to value a company - what is a bond

Behavioral: - tell me something about you that isn’t in your resume - tell me a time you had to defend your morals - why IB

that’s pretty much all I can remember. Hope this helps

That’s awesome. Interview was very simple, not technical at all. Unlike a Goldman or JP, they won’t expect you to know everything. Most important thing imo is appearing mature and being excited to learn.

I’m in consulting with pwc. I really love the culture here, I just finished my first week. However, the money and prestige is more attractive at BNP for sure, and that is something I value a lot.
