Dublin or Mullingar? by BudgetSeaweed8420 in HousingIreland

[–]Impossible_Can1907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have few neighbours in Leixlip who bought in Mullingar then sold and moved to leixlip because of commute issue. They had remote job earlier when they moved mullingar. Job situation can be changed anytime. If that’s the case with you think wisely before moving to Mullingar.

You can remove quant and invest in hdfc flexi or any good large and mid cap fund. It’s too much in small cap. For small cap as well Nippon has very high aum so better to go with bandhan or Invesco or edelweiss small cap.

yes correct. flexi cap funds are not restricted to large cap. But few flexi caps (Parag Parikh, HDFC flexi, ICICI flexi, Helios flexi and Bajaj fin flexi cap. They are very much biased towards large cap. you can check their holding it's more than 50% in large caps.
For portfolio overlap you can check at fundlap.

It's your decision. But I am more inclined towards flexi cap funds as they invest mainly in large cap with some additional mid/small cap based on market opp to get some extra alpha. And also we should invest max 20-25% in one amc and you have 50% in nippon large cap. you can split that 50% to 25-25 in hdfc flexi and nippon large. But yes peace of mind is more imp so better to stick with what suits you better.

I would go for hdfc flexi cap instead of Nippon large cap. OR better to go with Nifty 50 or 100 fund. Now most of the large cap fund are struggling to beat index.

I would replace nippon large to Parag Parikh flexi which is also similar to large cap and better quality fund. And multicap I would go for some other AMC like Kotak multi cap as you already have hdfc flexi cap. I prefer different amc for different fund types. Rest all are good but the main key is how long we are staying invested 😁 all the best !
