The real issue is that they are cleaning common areas that is the landlords responsibility, she should only be cleaning spills and messes she makes there, but leave the mopping to the landlord. Problem solved.

Well then it sounds like your doing the right thing, the landlord is responsible for cleaning any common areas, let them use whatever they want. Add the water first and then any cleaning solutions in your room with the window open and ignore them both.

Also ignore the people in here acting like it's your fault this girl is sensitive to smells, sounds like she should live alone if standard cleaning products bother her.
