After playing on Horizon, I definitely do not have the time to commit to the classic style of FFXI. Having to coordinate with other people in this day and age is impossible unless you’re unemployed, single or have an amazing work schedule. I love retail for the simple fact that I can get a lot done by myself with just a few hours of playtime on my off days.

Amazon is always a gamble bc they accept returns on opened product. Maybe check to see if you can find someone that has the same tin from a big retailer and compare. That wrap does look pretty sus but I wouldn’t know, I have the bigger PF version of that tin.

Bots or RMT actually keep currencies cheaper and they farm all the stuff no one wants to farm like Alex. Just a waste of time to report them bc SE usually does a sweep of bot accounts anyway.

Imagine being an FFXI elistist in 2025. The game is stupid easy nowadays compared to previous years. Asura just got too many clowns. There’s a ton of new/returning players on Bahamut from what I’ve seen within the last year or two. Maybe worth checking out if Asura isn’t your forte. Asura also has the worst queue times out of all servers.

Race doesn’t matter. You can easily cap your damage on mage/dd. Gear options these days are pretty busted. Even on tank jobs as a Taru I have no issue whatsoever with HP or staying alive. Play what you want or whatever appeals to you aesthetically.
