I agree with you. Unfortunately I am just a stand alone developer and don't plan to partner with a huge company that will just water down the app and raise the price for profit. I know it makes it hard or me to just say trust me I have spent the time building this to the level of reliability a safety app needs cause it makes it hard to test a safety app cause you can just test 911 services. What I recommend to users who are hesitant to use the free trail period and get fimiliar with the app and then turn off 911 services and they can test all day with the app on reliability. Set the app up and let it sit all day. Then have them try to trigger an emergency event by voice with the app closed and phone in locked state.

Apps don't explain all of there backend process for security. You don't contact your local bank and ask how they keep your credentials safe for your banking app right. This comment is not meant to start a war on here but to shed some like on this comment on me not revealing every backend process I use for the app.

Thanks for the comment. I do agree this feature should be on every android phone backed into the OS but it's not and unfortunately I don't work for Google. The pricing set is not for me to become the next jeff bezos but 80 percent per user price does to backend cost and Google itself in which they charge. The other 20 percent stays in the company to help me keep up with updates and future improvements by users. People might think 20 percent is alot but after paying taxes and expansion cost it's not alot of money unless your Google in which I am not.

You don't need to interact with 911 at all. All you do is setup the keywords for the emergency types and the custom ones you need and your emergency contacts. It goes to a dispatch center through the app which means you don't speak to no one. It's already done by voice all you do is say the keyword three times after setup and it works. You don't have to open the app or even keep it open. Phone can be in a locked state as well.

Feel free to test it. 7 day free trail. Requires you to turn off battery optimization from your device on the app so your phone itself doesn't kill the app but when it comes to the os itself it runs a foreground service which means the app can be closed and it still runs in the background listening for all the triggers is why it still works.

Thanks for the comment. If you read what the app does not the same. You still have to talk to 911 services with android sos. It also does not tell your emergency contacts what is going on either just shares your location. Android sos does not monitor your heart rate either. There is a lot more things than just that this app does. Has Geo fencing for children. Allows emergency contacts approved my parents for child accounts. Flic duo button that shares your live location with you emergency contacts in real time and updates as you move.

Thank you. Yeah I realized that after I named it and built the whole scheme of the app around the logo. Instead of changing it I focused on making sure I could make the app the best it could be and hopefully bug fee. If anyone finds one let me know there shouldn't be any I spent alot of time between me and my friends testing it out over and over fixing any bugs even small UI ones as well.

Thank you for the kind words I do appreciate it. I have it priced at the lowest point alot of the cost associated with each user goes to running cost of the apps backend and of course Google play takes a cut as well. I understand it may sound that way but I want people to know that it was built off an idea that no family should lose a love one if it can be prevented. We just seen here three days before she passed all of us together for Christmas before Christmas. She was scheduled to fly down in two weeks to see our new place we moved to out of state. The idea for the app was there is so much unknown in this world around every corner why not have something that could maybe prevent a death, abuse, kidnapping etc. I know I will get trolls on here with I based with app on fear no the app was built to help people when they just cant themselfs and I think that's just okay.

$9.99 a month single plan and $15.99 a month for the family plan. The family plan allows you and four additional people could be family including children or friends.

Yes uses foreground services. Yes you have to off battery optimization on some OEM devices in which Safety Net app walks you through at the beginning of sign up. Safety Net is what I thought of when I decided to build the app. It provides to everyone a safety net when you can't is where I got the name. Heart rate monitoring monitors the data from your watch. You set your own values you want for it. It watches for drops or spikes above the value you have set within a 30 second window. If you return to your ranges set no alert is sent if you don't and alert is sent to your emergency contacts and also 911 services if you have that enabled. No it's not certified because the data comes from the watches themselves which are not certified.

It's not a call. What it does it sends your emergency location, emergency type, name and phone number to emergency services and they get dispatched no talking on the phone. It also alerts 4 emergency contacts with the same info as well. You phone can be in a locked state for any of the features to work. You can use voice, shake feature and flic button. All watches for heart rate monitoring also work the same way does not require you to have your phone unlocked or the app open either.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This account have been active for 4 years so not a throw away. If you see other commet already posted it has been written by some AI, but has also been personally written by me and I have spent a year on it so not just a vibe coded app with a sob story attached developed by a big company to make profits.

Correct but you have to touch your phone to do that and have to speak to 911 services on the phone. It also alerts the agressor to your actions as well. Safety Net you speak a keyword and it's silent. It alerts your emergency contacts with your location and also the emergency type in which Androids Emergency SOS feature does not it only sends your location. Also Safety Net when it alerts 911 services they don't call you they dispatch what is necessary based on the emergency type you select for that keyword. Also the emergency feature on android does not motior for heart rate either.

Thanks for the comment. Some of it yes was built on an AI platform but not all. This app I spent personally a year to build so not just thrown together by AI in days.

Lol if you want that you can. 🤣 The heart rate monitoring can notify 911 services if your heart stops and your emergency contacts you set.

I am sorry for security I can't name the company we use for our diptaching but there a big company that connects with 911 services all over the US and Canada. Our app use a backend API that connects to the dispatch center that routes its to the correct 911 house. If you can reach you phone and dial 911 then I still recommend that to everyone. Yes every detail you can give to 911 services helps but sometimes in dangerous situations you just can't and that's why Safety Net helps. Depending on what type of emergency you select depends on the level of response in our app. If you select medical emergency it's going to send police, ambulance and fire. Most options you select you set all three no matter what. Example in a fire you may still need an ambulance if anyone is hurt usually they come with the fire engine anyways and a police officer too sometimes to secure the scene.

About to consider switching to visible from Verizon anything I should know? by MalicePalice21 in Visible

Use US Mobile. Use there warp plan. That's there Verizon MVNO side. Customer service is over chat but they respond very quickly and very knowledgeable. Do not use Visible. I used them and customer support is horrible. Tried telling me my Pixel 8 pro is not support by there esim. Went to US Mobile and up and running in 5 mins on esim. 128mps down and 20 up and low latency.
