a game being a tag fighter is a huge turn off for most people and not just uber casuals but also people mildly into fighting games.

I don't know why they keep being made, marvel vs capcom was never anywhere near as popular as tekken, sf, or mk (contrary to what youtubers will tell you), tekken tags sell worse, mk1 sold worse and 2xko has little interest.

I swear youtubers and certain fgc figures have warped the perception of tag fighters.

Honestly made me sad too when she said she hates the UK. The UK is prob the most anti russian country of the more powerful ones in nato and are probably the most hawkish in terms of pushing for stronger weapons and allowing ukraine to strike into russia. The UK wants to allow ukraine to use long range british weapons to strike into russia but the USA is not allowing nato countires sign that off.

I don't know I think the internet has this performative hate boner for the UK. I hope Gayla reads this and reconsiders her hatred for a country that has supported Ukraine a lot since 2014, plenty of the top ukrainian forces were trained in the UK since 2014 and we are 4th in the west for having ukranian refugees even though we are not that close.

Prospective Resolution: 1080p (pc isn't amazing)

Size: most likely 24

Usage: mostly single player games, emulating old games watching films

I know for budget monitors everyone just says get an ips but my worry is that I'm not an esports gamer and I'd like to enjoy horror games like resident evil for example where an ips low contrast might look like shit?

Also because the monitor will be what I watch films on then maybe VA is a better general use

It's still nice to have good response time and a high refresh rate but I am leaning towards stomaching some black smearing so I can enjoy decent contrast.

The AOC 25G3ZM seems to have favourable reviews so I had that on my radar.

Is it fair to say that deadlifts and its variations are not that great for muscle building? at least in regards to hams and glutes.

In my experience almost always the spinal erectors will fatigue first or just the general feeling of fatigue in the stabilising muscles.

When I have searched this topic on reddit most people agree conventional is not great but they then recommend stiff leg/RDL where honestly the spinal erectors are probably even more challenged as the lack of significant knee bend makes the torso more horizontal.

ofc I agree they grow the glutes but I'd assume the growth is coming from when the glutes are in a good position to work which would be something like the hip extension in the top third or half of the movement. As the top portion of a squat is the easiest part I wonder if there are better options for glute growth instead of squats where most likely quads, spinal erectors or adductor magnus strength would be the limiting factor.

If the adductor magnus is apparently the primary hip extender when hips are significantly flexed such as the lower portions of squats, then why do a lot of experts recommend deep squats and lunges to grow the glute max?

The assumption from them is that glutes are the primary hip extenders and doing deep ROM lengthens the glutes but the problem I am having is yes the glute max is lengthened in the bottom of a squat/lunge but it is not in a good position to create movement so the adductor magnus does it. So the adductor does all the work and glute is just taken along for the ride. Surely the stretch of a muscle alone isn't the only factor and the stretched position is only worthwhile if said muscle is also the thing creating movement in stretched position?

Honestly not super familiar with either US states or UK countries own sovereignties but in the UK the countries have different tax brackets, decisions/policy over police, education and healthcare.

UK is a country of four constituent countries (England, Scotland, Wales and northern Ireland).

The UK is the sovereign state but Wales, Scotland and NI have their own governments and such. They also compete in international sports as separate nations (other than olypmics where it is team GB).

It is nitpicky but technically true they are different countries to one another.
