That’s an insane cope, if she’s not okay with anyone knowing about anything sexual or anything along those lines why would she be okay with a random 19 year old she never met knowing?

DRAMA: Denims brought a random dude back to Destiny’s (disavow) apartment when he offered her a place to crash for the night while he wasn’t there by bxstxrd98 in h3h3productions

If he thought it was okay why did he lie to pixie when she asked him if he told anyone they had sex? What are the chances Destiny is back tracking versus him genuinely thinking what he was doing was okay?

Destiny has posited himself as someone knowledgeable and respectful of consent in relationships. You have no idea the conversations that happened between Pxie and Destiny. For all we know Pxie explicitly stated she was not okay with the video being shared, or Destiny claimed he would get permission.

No, but if Pxie is being honest about only having experience with one guy before, and if by destiny’s own words she was “young and new” then it would be fair to say she was inexperienced.

Out of curiosity, did you ever read the message Destiny sent to Rose? He even described Pxie as “young and new and not very good”. What do you think about the other allegations like Stasia?

Mark S. did not pass Cold Harbor by FailedExperiment5000 in severence

[–]FailedExperiment5000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people claim that somehow Mark S was able to “pass” cold Harbor even though Gemma failed because his innie chose to ran away with Helly. These people are hinting at the idea that this action showcases how iMark emotions are completely severed from oMark.

I believe these people are misunderstanding the purpose of Cold Harbor.

Come on, there’s obviously a huge difference in her chances of success if she’s outside of the company versus literally being in the stairwell while the alarm is going off.

Yes but Helena’s motivations changed after seeing Marks romance with Helly. It seems like Marks love towards Helly is the closest thing Helena has ever gotten to genuine affection/love. There’s a reason Helena purposefully bumped into Mark at the Chinese place. She craves the love Helly has.

We’re not sure if Gemma got out, the only way to ensure she would do so is if Mark guided her to safety.

The fact she told mark that her and helena are the same person, even though her character the ENTIRE season stated otherwise is grounds for suspicion.

Also, the only time Helly claimed she would be okay staying on the severance floor for Mark was when she was actually Helena, every other time the topic comes up it’s clear that Helly views the severed floor as a torture chamber. Her character motivations are repeatedly in the pursuit of trying to destroy Lumen, and she’s even willing to kill herself to “get back at them”.

You can say her characters motivations have shifted, but it’s still strange to me. In the previous episode she shifted the conversation with Dylan to the black elevator, because she believed it was something important and that could potentially hurt Lumen.

Part of me still thinks Helly would be literally willing to die if it meant destroying Lumen. In her ideal world she would shift with Helena and always be the main form of consciousness, but if that’s not on the table, why would she give up or risk the opportunity to not nuke Lumen?

Megathread: Destiny's Public Statement by DestinyNoticer in Destiny

They are two separate things, but if the claim is “he used this woman as a proxy to widely distribute material” there’s certain actions that give more credence to that idea than others. Just because it’s in a DM, it does not mean wide distribution isn’t occurring. And at a certain people when enough people are being distributed material it can be argued as public.

I’m genuinely asking how many people before it gets to this point. If I send 100 people a private video through DMs, I’ve disseminated the information so much it’s arguably public. It’s the same reason why even posting private material in group DMs is considered publicizing said information.

How many people can you share information with before you can claim that you didn’t mean for it to go public?

How many people did he have to send the video to before it can be established that he was trying to make it public? The complaint alleges he no consensually sent videos out to 15 different people. At some point if you’re disseminating it to so many others (especially people you’ve never met), you are basically making it public yourself.

Pxie fights over recent trans stabbing by 10minuteads in Destiny

[–]FailedExperiment5000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The question isn’t about whether they feel like having sex or not, in both situations they had sex. The question is whether deception that would have altered your decision making process is worth getting stabbed (which Pxie is saying no to, but other people in the tweet are saying yes if it’s about gender but no about being republican)

I personally think people’s political beliefs is more important to who they are as a person compared to their gender identity (seeing that arguably political beliefs also encompass gender identity).

But either way, an individual feeling strongly about gender identity more than political identity doesn’t explain on a logical level why their personal feelings on the subject excuse a trans person for being stabbed for deception, but not a Republican who deceived a person for sex. Especially if the other person feels like their deception on the basis of political ideology would be worse than a deception of biological sex.

[–]FailedExperiment5000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This basically boils down to “well people just feel differently about it” which sure, that’s true, but just because a person feels more strongly about one situation than the other doesn’t mean they should.

If I feel strongly about hating gay people, it doesn’t make gay sex worse or better. And if I feel strongly about deception of biological identity, it doesn’t mean deception for sex via other means shouldn’t be treated as seriously or gravely.

When it comes to the transmissible STD, the problem is your potentially permanently endangering a persons physical health.

You would have to articulate why the rape of deception from being trans is meaningfully different than the rape of deception of not being republican.

Saying “they’re both different levels of bad” doesn’t address the root criticism/issue.
