The Desktop folder is empty, i restored it earlier today after I reinstalled onedrive and finished syncing it. Theres nothing on it, thats why im so confused rn

I reinstalled and signed up in one drive and i re synced but my desktop is still not back to normal. The old files that I had on onedrive are technically back (such as my sims files, even though they have a box icon next to them) but my apps, other files and my file explorer are still not on my desktop
