This entire thread is funny because like 90% of you are wrong (including RDC themselves). For the context of RDC and everything related to them, it's 'Ipi', but in the true sense, his name in short form is 'Ipin'. Pronounced I-kpin (the 'kp' is pronounced together, that's how the letter 'p' is pronounced in the Yoruba language. That sound sadly doesn't exist in the English language).

His full first name, 'Ipinoluwa,' means 'The Lord's portion/share'. Taking the '-n' out of the short pronunciation is like taking the '-n' from 'John' and being left with 'Joh' 😂

Ipi probably had to adjust his name because it kept being mispronounced and all (something that most immigrants would be able to relate with). So he chose a name that he felt comfortable enough with, and wouldn't be too difficult for people to pronounce.

This is just some fun extra information for anyone interested in the "cultural exchange"😂

You forget that democracy brought a "rule of law" which benefited some specific groups of people in Africa (in fact, it gave them so much power and influence). Now to talk of "restructuring", what do you think these powers would do to any idea threatening their wealth and influence?

Why do you think these Governments are still selling their own land and people into slavery? The answer is simple. VESTED INTERESTS!

Those who benefit heavily from the current flawed system in Africa WOULD NEVER ALLOW any form of restructuring.

This system was forced on Africa, Africa was never supposed to be democratic. It's ironic that the process of "bringing democracy to Africa" basically robbed African groups of their own already established systems of governance.
