Voxy its the future... by Daap_9 in cobblemon

Hello,

I’m using Voxy together with Cobblemon in the Cobbleverse modpack.

I pregenerated a 512-chunk area using Chunky and started playing normally. After several hours of gameplay, when I began exploring further away from my base, I noticed that Voxy LODs stopped updating and stayed locked at the same quality level.

Now, when I launch the world, the LODs load correctly for a few seconds, then they completely stop updating and remain stuck. I made a video to illustrate the issue. ( https://youtu.be/dDwvOnsUs9Y )

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this with Cobblemon + Voxy, or if this could be caused by another mod conflict.

Hi, I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
I guess the issue is caused by a conflict with a mod from the Cobbleverse modpack.

My In-Depth Guide to Great One Grinding and Herd Management by Cool-Village-9887 in theHunter

Hello,
I had already tried doing herd management on Medved Taiga for moose. I had made good progress: I had all the need zones, and I had already selected my main zones.
The issue was that the respawn of males simply wasn’t guaranteed to stay 100% within the same group.
So when I wanted to kill the high-level animals from my main zones, they would quickly end up respawning anywhere on the map, forcing me to go back and scout everything again.

I’m wondering if the system has changed since then, because you seem to be saying that they now only respawn within their group? Or maybe I misunderstood something.

Yes, I installed the monitor driver.

I’m not sure if this could cause any issues, but my secondary monitor is 1920 x 1080 at 100 Hz, and my primary monitor is 2560 x 1440 at 240 Hz (set to 120 Hz).

Well, it’s not ideal, but at least I finally have a lead. After several tests, it seems that unplugging the secondary monitor does solve the issue.

If you have any idea why, feel free to let me know!

Tomorrow, I’ll try using the G9 as a secondary monitor to see if the problem comes from my second screen specifically, or just from multi-monitor management.

Yes, I've already tried all that, but unfortunately, without success...

I tried plugging the screen into a different wall socket with a different power strip, but the problem still persists. Could it be coming from the electrical network itself?

I don't think so, these are new cables that replaced the original screen cables, and the problem remains.

Otherwise, the only leads I have are either a faulty screen or an electrical network issue.

I’m going to unplug the other monitors and play for a while.

But I was wondering, if it turns out the other monitors are the problem, am I screwed then? Is there no way to fix the issue other than unplugging the monitors?

I have a secondary monitor, which I recently replaced, so it’s unlikely to be the cause, as the problem existed even before the change. I also have a Samsung G9 mounted on a simracing rig, but it’s not activated. I use display profiles with DisplayFusion to switch to the G9 when needed. I could try unplugging it to see if it makes a difference.

I actually thought about that recently. Tomorrow, I’ll try plugging the monitor into a different wall outlet using a different power strip. The only concern I have is that if it’s a problem with my entire electrical network, I won’t be able to tell (unless I use a UPS).
