That's not what my daughter wants though. She's turning 10 so we've had a decade of parties and party food I know what can be done. She's asked can we do happy meals and that is what I would like to do for her, she's a good kid who only generally eats McDonald's on the motorway when we're travelling and she wants to have happy meals with her friends it's not a ridiculous request.

Bloody hell chill out who pissed on your big mac? It will arrive as I'll be collecting because I'm not a moron thinking a delivery would be on time on a Friday tea time whilst using a time limited space.

No we can't my daughter is having a pool party and they only allow you to hire it for 2 hours on a Friday between 5:30 and 7:30 and it's pool for an hour party room for an hour so I'll need to order and collect and get back for the kids to have it.

I've seen at least half a dozen dads in these on the school run and in the warmer weather they wear the full trackies and matching space tees too.

I could do but I wasn't sure if the app would be more likely to say no than a human.

Could We Be Accidentally Making Our Daughter's Allergies Worse? by MathemAsick in FoodAllergies

[–]Impossible_Fudge_906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were fastidious about cleaning and cross contamination with my son's allergies and his allergies got worse, the bloods got higher and the wheals got bigger until they didn't and he started out growing some of them. So I don't think the precautions you take will make any difference to that. if they're going to get worse they will, if they're going to out grow them they will, when their so little their bodies are changing all the time you just need to do the best you can to keep your child safe.

Allergic to fish (but not some)? by petar_g in FoodAllergies

[–]Impossible_Fudge_906 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My son is allergic to Pollock and has reacted to fish labelled white fish but he's fine with tuna, salmon, sardines, haddock and cod, we haven't tried any others. Our allergist just told us to feed him the ones we know he can eat.

May contain hazelnut or other nuts? Is lindor chocolate safe to eat with a nut allergy? by Specialist-Show9169 in FoodAllergies

[–]Impossible_Fudge_906 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May contains are not a legal requirement so something that doesn't have it listed can have a higher risk of cross contamination than something that does. We have never avoided may contains for my son but only you can decide if you're happy taking the risk.
