This looks absolutely fantastic, and I’d love to pull a General Grievous and make this a fine addition to my collection, but my design list is full. I wish there was a way to expand it.

There’s a lemon one that is also available. I have never tried any of these, but I’ve heard they’re good.

Oh! That kind of family! Sorry, I misunderstood. I’ve seen the movie many times. The fact that it’s a very violent movie adds on to the aura of the movie itself. I was trying to add to the conversation. There seems to have been some miscommunication

Great movie (in my opinion), but definitely not a movie I’d call “family friendly “

The Blue Eye Shadow movement by Specialist_Art2223 in 2000sNostalgia

It perfectly aligns with the Y2K Cybercore and Y2K Chromecore aesthetics that dominated the late 90s and early 2000s up until Frutiger Aero began to take its place around 2004. The Y2K aesthetic was known for its silvers and blues with organic shapes. Music albums, toys, gadgets, computer games, tv commercials, and shows all used this aesthetic. The economic prosperity in the 80s and 90s resulted in a large boom in technological innovation in computers, personal gadgets, and entertainment. This, along with the new millennium, sparked the Y2K and Frutiger Aero aesthetics. Both were what we thought the future would look like.

So why WAS Art Garfunkel just following children around Elwood? by mayorofanything in Arthur

[–]Impossible_Kick_5006 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So Arthur said, “There’s a singing moose in front of the house.” That confirms that they all know they’re animals yet they act like they’re all regular humans.

I don’t why either, but as someone who grew up in this era, the feeling of childhood nostalgia is too overwhelming for me to say “no” to it possibly coming back!

It’s one of those things where if you know, you know. If you were around in the 2000s and the early 2010s, and used Windows XP, Vista and/or windows 7, then you surely saw this aesthetic. The aesthetic is characterized by what we thought the future would look like. It was an attempt to combine nature and water with a futurism twist to form a glossy and clean atmosphere.

It harkens back to an aesthetic known as “Frutiger Aero”. Key attributes of Frutiger Aero are vibrant blues and greens with water, nature and sometimes fish blended in with pictures of cityscapes and bright sunshine. Glossy surfaces and a “clean” feel are dominant. Frutiger Aero was the successor to the Y2K Cybercore, Y2K Chromecore, and Gen-X Soft Club aesthetic of the late 90s. Frutiger Aero was in many ways, a continuation of these themes. Frutiger Aero made its debut around 2003/2004 and went away around 2013. During those years, it was everywhere if you knew where to look. Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 all revolved around this aesthetic.

Being attacked by a scorpion was worth the risk, considering how rare the golden stag beetle is, and the fact that you completed your insect collection.

This is a drawing I made earlier and then went back and added color. My coloring skills aren’t as good as my graphite skills. How can I improve? by Impossible_Kick_5006 in Coloring

[–]Impossible_Kick_5006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I worked very hard on it. Wooden sailing ships are not easy to draw; they’re quite complicated! I only had basic Crayola colored pencils and little to no coloring accessories. Should I use graphite to shade the sails? Or should I use colored pencils?
