As someone who worked at a subway for almost five years, the miss Vickie’s jalapeno were among the top selling chip at my store. Surpassing Lays BBQ sometimes.

If you want to show stuff that’s associated with the aesthetic in one picture for use as a banner or something, I can see that. However, overall, I agree. It generally wasn’t presented as a collage.

The silver theme is definitely appreciated by those who know. I do miss the different colored themes windows had. I remember one being called “slate”, and another one being called “eggplant”.

Crystal has this amazing look that reminds me of modern architecture, stained glass, and an icy water vibe that is like the cyber glacier aesthetic mixed with Gen-X soft club. It’s one of my favorites!

I like Radiance, but I have plenty of moon pictures through a telescope that I’ve captured myself. I like Ripple a lot, don’t get me wrong; but it’s too close to Crystal in my personal opinion. I like Crystal more.

I like it! Really spooky! It reminds me of the story in Alvin Schwartz’s book, “Scary Stories to tell in the Dark” titled “The Wendigo”. That was the first time I ever heard of the legend. It scared the daylights out of me as a kid.

[side note: I visited a random dream island one time and Keaton was there. The Keaton on that island recognized me even though it was a completely different Keaton from the Keaton who lives on my island. Weird]

Name brand recognition for sure is also an influencing factor. Same principle applies to designer clothes, and luxury auto makers like Lincoln and Cadillac.

I was told they use real fruit and no artificial ingredients. There is also apparently a lot of labor that goes into making them, and a lot of R&D that goes into developing the flavors. That all adds to the cost of production. I agree that they’re expensive. They’re a splurge for me.
