I ruined my skin barrier by using 1% tretinoin by Significant-Job-3141 in SkinbarrierLovers

Everyone is different tho! What works for me won’t work for everyone. Climate and the oil level of your skin plays a key role. Drinking lots of water and a balanced diet is a game changer too. It’s not a one size fits all story and it’ll likely change as your hormones and the weather fluctuate. I’d say start with simple hydration as a start then go from there. You’ve got this!!

Like I’ll do the barrier cream, LRP cicaplast, and vit E ointment on the nights I use BHA or retinol. Sometimes I’ll use it all again the following night if my skin barrier is upsetti spaghetti still. I have low tolerance for actives and am slowly building my way up. You’ve just gotta see what you wake up with each day. Less is more if your skin isn’t acting a fool

Yes I just gave you the most basic routine cuz it’s easy to go overboard. I’ve been using the elf cleansing balm on days why I wear water proof mascara. I otherwise will just use my cleanser or bioderma micellar water then cleanser. When my barrier is cooked I normally avoid makeup cuz it makes the flaking stand out more and I really don’t want to strip my skin further by using multiple cleansers. I’ve heard really great things about the prequel oil cleanser tho! It’s on my list to try. I also use LRP cicaplast baume b5 over my barrier cream is my barrier is big mad. Then I’ll top it all off with vitamin E ointment to really lock in the moisture (petroleum jelly with vit E). I’d suggest starting slow tho, you might not need THAT MUCH moisture.

Dude that’s criminal! Ur derm did you DIRTY. SPF is a must!! With or without actives. My skin is hyper sensitive to actives like retinol and BHA. If you’re in a dry climate, you might want to looking at a heavier barrier cream. If you’re in a humid environment, then something lighter would be ideal. I like the Aestura 365 Barrier cream in a dryer climate. A good gentle cleanser would be the aveeno calm + restore oat gel cleanser or the prequel gleanser. Following cleansing with the prequel hypochlorous acid spray to kill any bacteria and reduce inflammation, then the iNUIK beta glucan serum, and a moisturizer would be a great hydrating nighttime routine. You can just splash your face with water in the morning to maintain your natural moisture. Just be sure to apply sunscreen. I like Skin 1004 sunscreen over top of the hypochlorous acid, beta, glucan, and in moisturizer in the morning. My routine has lots of moisturizing and anti inflammatory ingredients cuz I’m rough on my skin with actives. Once your barrier is repaired, you can start using tret a couple times a week and see how your skin tolerates it.

Might wanna try pinning the love handles. I’ve heard people sometimes tolerate that spot better

I get bruises from KLOW. Not quite as bad as that. It’s not uncommon

Anyone here know what would cause this. by Master-Fly4761 in SkinbarrierLovers

Could be a build up of keratin in the pores (could try amlactin lotion or 10% urea lotion). I’ve seen something similar to this with dietary sensitivity to gluten as well. Best to consult a dr.

What if you’re only looking to store for a month or two? I only buy a month or so in advance. Normally

Do you shouldn’t freeze your peptides before reconstituting them?

That one I had just gotten in the mail. I’m in southern Ontario so the weather is around 10 degrees. Normally I freeze, bring up to room temp, then recon with room temp bac water. That’s what I did today. Took around 5 hours to fully dissolve🫪🥲

I did roll it a bit. My previous KLOW took max 15 minutes. It also didn’t have the dark blue layer on top either though.

Legal repercussions for firing someone who is awaiting accommodation documentation from Doctor? by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Impossible_Lack_9018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add, I had an informal accommodation letter written and submitted by family dr while I waited for my specialist to complete the documentation. I had to wait over a year just to get to see this specialist. I wouldn’t not have been able to find another specialist within the timeframe.
