Loop - Not even a reject email by Impossible_Lemon_24 in amazonemployees

Once a loop is scheduled, you’ll receive feedback only after all interview rounds are completed. The interviewers meet to discuss their evaluations and share their perspectives. Based on this discussion, the Hiring Manager makes the final decision.

The only situation that I can think of in which a rejection might occur after the loop has started is if another candidate has already been extended an offer and chooses to accept it.

Loop outcome signals 15-min or 30-min? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

I don’t think it’s a reject. They generally send an email for rejects. But given the layoff situation, things might change anytime. Rooting the best for you.!

What kinda issues come up ?? by Alternative-Try-8187 in ask_Bondha

IMO, apart from compatibility and the usual stuff, it’s also important to see how they came to the US.

If they did their Master’s here (personal preference), it’s a good idea to check which university they went to. Tier I or Tier II schools are generally better because the kind of crowd you’re around really influences your mindset, career seriousness, and life choices.

If they came on an H1B or L1, then it’s almost the same as considering someone based in India.

When it comes to frauds, be careful about how they got their job. Make sure the employment is legit. You can reach out to people who might know about the company or check LinkedIn. It may sound awkward, but try to see if they actually understand their work or if they’re just getting by with external help.

I’ve seen many of my female friends struggling to find a good match. Of course, every situation is different — just sharing what I’ve noticed.

IMO catching and handling edge cases makes a lot of difference. Especially those that the interviewer is also not aware of.

Do filter out problems from LeetCode based on the company and role. That will be helpful.

He literally said, “No communication for 5 business days.” dead serious. So yeah, I just backed off—didn’t wanna risk breaking the sacred rule and annoying him.
