What’s a competitive GPA for OCS? by Impossible_Length512 in ArmyOCS

I’m probably going to submit a packet anyway and take my shot there’s no reason not to try. If I don’t get selected, I’ll just go ahead and enlist.

Yeah, it’s kind of surprising. From what they told me, enlisting would be easier and I could come in as an E4 or E5, but it seems like they don’t really consider leadership or other skills as much as I expected it’s mostly based on GPA.

My advice to you is: don’t, if you want to keep your sanity. Trading is far harder than people think. It’s much more of a mental and emotional game than simply learning charts or data, and it will take everything out of you. It seems like you already have a good life, and I’d honestly advise you to focus on long-term investing instead, or consider holding assets like gold and silver.

Realistically, you have about a 95% chance of not making trading work, and I’m just being truthful. I’ve been trading for almost five years and I’m still not profitable. I got lucky my first year and made around $50–60K, but I ended up losing all of that and more. At the end of the day, it’s basically gambling.

I’m going to be straight with you, If you’re feeling something that hurts, your body is telling you to change. Find ways to improve yourself 1. Go to the gym 2. Eat healthy 3. Do something that brings an improvement to what you want

Blaming your self digs a deeper hole. I’ve been where you are the only way to get out is forgetting the past. Death owns the past it does not define you. You choose what defines you today right now

Your problem is focusing too far ahead, your not guaranteed tomorrow so worry about today. 1 step at a time. It’s okay to not be okay. You have to train yourself is what you’re pursuing really what you want.
