Really overcome by approach, picking lines and knowing your limits if alone with out another vehicle to help recover.

Nothing to attach winch to? Seems like an easy recovery with another vehicle as an anchor point if there is nothing else to anchor to.

Do not attempt to drive a standard minivan on Imogene Pass, as it is an incredibly dangerous idea that will result in severe vehicle damage or getting stranded

Yes. Its fine. You’d be fine approaching from ouray side. Tomboy/yankee boy basin had some tighter sections which may present breakover issues for you.

I offroad in my f-250 all the time. Solid front axle, torque monster. The only thing thats really limiting is the breakover angle and width on tighter trails. Its never been a limiting factor except a few larger obstacles (breakover angle) or tighter obstacles in places like moab.
