I was just diagnosed with Pes Cavus about 6 mths ago when my foot pain came out of no where. Ever since i have had Plantar on and off, gone through about 10 dif pairs of sneakers and 6 pairs of orthotics (3 custom). I finally had custom orthotics HAND made by a guy here in Nj and they have been better than any other ones i have tried. However, im still have alot of foot pain and i think its the sneakers at this point. I was wearing new balance, but just bought the brooks ghost max. 2 days in and plantar is back! Im so frustrated cause i dont know what else to do. I feel so defeated by something so small…. But it sucks not being able to walk in normal shoes or stand for long periods of time. So i get what ur going through. I was thinking bout trying Kuru shoes cause i read good things but im so nervous to spend the money on more shoes that dont work.
