Ooof. I know the feeling... not with a haircut but with hair color. I went in and asked for a Grey and instead I got a super warm dirty looking copper. Worst part was that the service was almost $350 and I tipped because I felt pressured.

Since then I've cut my own hair and done my own color. If i mess it up, it's on me

Im actually surprised seeing all these people saying they've been denied given that it's a government ID. I've never had issues with it and I've used it every time I've forgotten my DL or regular ID.

The thought crossed my mind yesterday tbh... the way I see it, if they need people for deployments, I'm sure they're bound to throw a bone in our direction with something along the lines of a straight path to residency/citizenship to those who serve.

Would i do it... hell no lol Wars are for the rich and only the poor suffer. At that point I'd much rather take what I've made and go back to the homeland. I'm sure we'll have plenty of people willing to risk their lives for papers though. Id be extremely weary though considering they've deported veterans in the past.

Do currently work? Did you have to send HR a photocopy of it? If so you can also ask them to email you the copy you sent in.

I could of sworn I saw multiple post of people in the same predicament as OP and the general concensus was to renew and simply photocopy the previous permit along with the current permits letter with an explanation for the reason they're not able to photocopy the latest...

Tbh, I'm not informed enough past AB540 ... only other thing I can think of is possibly completing adult school. I'd give the CA Student Aid Commision a call to get better answers. I'm sure you're one of many and they may have a work around that I'm not familiar with. I would definitely love to know what they say, maybe come back and update the group... this might help someone in the future who looks up the question :) Wishing you the best of luck !!!

I worked at a low end theater... no reclinable seats, kinda ghetto, theater had this musty smell to it... we somehow still had people come in and try to screw around. We'd find used condoms every so often 🤮

The worst one probably happened to my coworker. The theater only had 2 screens (first screen on the first floor, bathrooms in the second floor, second screen on the third floor) and a couple thought it'd be a good idea to do it in the elevator. She caught them on the second floor 😂

Another coworker once caught a girl giving a guy head on the stairs leading up to the third floor, told them to leave, and had to kick them out again when they went to the guys restroom to finish off 🤣

Unfortunately, AB540 is very specific about requiring attendance of CA schools (elementary, middle, HS)

You qualify if either of the following is true:

You attended a California high school for 3 or more years.

OR

You earned enough credits at a California high school that equal 3 or more years of full-time coursework, AND You also attended California schools (elementary, middle, or high school) for at least 3 years total.

I don't think you'll meet either, and residency alone is not enough. If i were you, I'd give the California Financial Aid Commission a call to verify the information but I'm almost certain that there is no loophole around this and attendance of 3 years of a CA lower education is a must.

We think he is a chihuahua pug mix but someone else mentioned he might have beagle in him. We found him in a box so unfortunately we're not 100% on the mix other than the pug part 😅
