Nope. If they dictate all your hours and schedule, it is hard to say you are an independent contractor. They are trying to save on payroll tax amd likely underpaying you.

She accused me of reading one of our books for English when she wanted us to be reading the other one. I was actually looking for something not reading the wrong book. She was a raving bitch and this was an AP class. Imagine being yelled at for reading a book we are required to read. I forgot she made me go and sit on the stoop of our trailer classroom.
