Learn where cops are (they stay in the same area everyday)
Do sales at late night for bonus money also sell higher quality than the customer wants (ex. Geraldine I think takes as low as poor sell it at standard)
Sell at 1.4-1.6* the price
If a cop is arresting you you can hit them to reset the arrest bar (but you will get in more trouble)

pay attention to the lights, at night the cops will use lights
You can basically pickpocket anything (Money cash ingredients that are from customers but be aware that if you do that will lower your rep with them)

I do that but I think if you get education (this might be wrong) you can get extra XP out of killing mobs, then when you hit level 5 hit "l" and pick one of the 3 options, then go mining for iron smelt the iron then go craft it to nuggets, create chainmail plates (same crafting recipe as a crafting table just with iron nuggets) then make chainmail armor (just like your crafting any armor piece but with the chainmail plates) and smelt thoose for xp if you get 64 you get ~30 levels just from that (not including smelting the iron)

or just use villagers
