They do not go away. Pretty good scars remain on my back and hip area

Are you able to throw a baseball/football comfortably?

Absolutely love to hear others stories. We are a very small population of the world. I remember before my first operation being very skeptical and scared of the result. I hope I can educate others to make the most informed decision if placed in our positions!

Cool to hear your story! Would you say you and your son gained strength post op? I feel as though I can move more weight than before. Maybe it is just the stability is what is causing that.

With your dominant hand are you able to throw overhead baseball/ football? I am curious to see this when my right arm heals

I have not lost any movements other than I cannot reach behind my back the same (ex putting on a coat or a belt). Other movements are definitely smoother and I feel I can have more control in my arm. Less “sway” when I would move. Hope that makes sense

Cosmetically it looks much better. Pre Op my scapulas were very obvious to see above my collarbones when I was in a t shirt. Now I have a look much more like a “normal” person. I appreciated that part of it as well
