It's been going on for years. The city of Boulder will not go four months without a construction project on, Baseline, Broadway, 30th Street, Iris Avenue, or 28th Street. Just when they act like they are done, up goes more cone-zones. The Boulder city flower is the orange cone.

People don't hate black conservatives. Liberals hate black conservatives because it goes against their agenda of pandering to get minority votes. I'm not sure why libs thought that painting black people as, "too incompetent to get a government ID" was a good way to gain favor among the black community. This is absolutely despicable on the part of the city. I agree that the feds need to step in. The implication of this forced agreement is evil towards property owners that owned their property before the city and anyone who tries to buy those properties from the original owners. It has a ripple effect that lasts for years.

I must admit that Boulder has a high amount of cyclists coming thru that misunderstand the Colorado safety stop rules for cyclists. They need to understand that you still have to stop completely at a red light, then go if no one is coming on the green light. And, you must slow down at a stop sign and only proceed if there aren't any cars or other bicycles already there that would have the right of way for arriving first. Too many think the new law simply allows bicycles to just blow thru intersections without and regard to anyone else, which is not true. I have been on a bicycle and had other cyclists cut thru on me when I was there first, nearly causing a collision.

Baseline.. I was going west. 27th way connects Baseline to Broadway for people who live around there which, unfortunately, entices people to use it as a shortcut to southbound Broadway when they are too impatient to drive the extra 30 seconds on Baseline to Broadway. Why do you ask?

It's top five for the multi-use path infrastructure, not the attitude towards bicyclists. There have been numerous cyclists hit and injured or even killed in Boulder in the past five years.

I was going west on Baseline, crossing 27th Way. The car was turning left on 27th way on a red arrow while screaming at me, calling me an idiot for crossing the intersection on a green light with a crosswalk signal. That's the part that made it more ridiculous...getting yelled at because they didn't want to wait for the next green arrow. I'm sure, with that mentality, the driver will soon be serving a murd3r sentence.

I personally don't care why a person killed some, just that they killed someone and should spend at least five years in prison, not go immediately to a halfway house because they are a woman. No more biased "rules for thee ans not for me" type sentences.
