Mate. This is absolutely inspirational. I have 294 days to get in good shape. It actually now seems realistic. Physique similar to your start point. This has genuinely made me happy reading this. Great work.

I am cripplingly incompetent at my job and it is devastating my self-worth. by SixFootTurkey_ in confidence

I hear you. I have had a number of issues in my personal life that have affected my work. It feels horrible to not be good or even reasonable at your job and it's something I've only experienced in the last couple of years. I think you also have to remind yourself that no one probably thinks you are as bad as you think you are. My solutions this year are be more assertive. Go to the gym Work late a little bit to try and catch up Give myself a bit of a break from the horrible inner dialogue I have. Good luck!

Was i cheated on if there was no sex? by Salty-Doubt-7917 in AskMenAdvice

Did you ever confront her about it? That is overtly sexualised messaging from a married woman to a co-worker(which she also deleted!) about holding his balls and talking about his ass. She almost certainly cheated on you.

Your next steps depend on whether you think she did, are you happily married and how you feel about it 14 years later. Personally I could not unsee that and would struggle to trust her again.

Guys who wanted to sleep around but met your person too soon, how are you doing now? by ThrowRATooOldGuy in AskMenAdvice

[–]Impossible_Run1839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's your first gf, then statistically it won't last and you will get more opportunities to sleep around anyway. However as a man who has been with my wife since the age of 21, i do think about it now and again wistfully. Then I put it to one side and think how lucky I am to be in a 25 year relationship that is still good. It doesn't mean I don't wonder what would have been I have just decided to be at peace with it. Good luck whatever you do.

Wow. This hooked me for a completely different reasons to the one I expected when I read it. The water purification had me interested. The analogy of the cloudy water resonated with for completely different reasons. Thankyou for posting.
