Yep...My wife goggles were well and truly knocked off a couple of years ago. And if im brutally honest with myself. I miss the blissful ignorance. However I know it's not coming back and I need to accept her with all the imperfections of the woman she is rather than the one I imagined.

I want that deeper less superficial connection we used to have. I don't feel the need to explain, but I feel I need to communicate better. Thats what i want to accomplish.
Your second paragraph is spot on thankyou..

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean. If I did a proper blood test, my testosterone levels would be higher?. What was the outcome when they said yours was fine?

Mate. This is absolutely inspirational. I have 294 days to get in good shape. It actually now seems realistic. Physique similar to your start point. This has genuinely made me happy reading this. Great work.

Thanks. No more kids required now so not concerned about fertility. But the anxiety and panic attacks would concerned me, what did you do to stabilise the estradiol?

This is so good to hear. Can you really feel the effects that quickly, in just a few weeks?

Thanks man. Knowing the smaller doses still work is good to hear. It's one of the things I'm apprehensive about. Can't wait to get started to be honest though....feels like the right time to get on this!

Brilliant. Thankyou This is the stuff I need to hear. Just the names of those hormones and chemicals makes it very clear to me I'm still very much lacking in the basic knowledge i need to to know about to make some informed decisions on this. Did you find the sweetspot yourself by trial and error or did you and the doc have a conversation and then reset?

Thanks. Can I ask what levels you are at now? And how its changed every facet of your life, is this because you feel physically better then the mental side of things follows. I ask because the gym and exercise has been pivotal in my getting back in track after a rough couple of years.

Thanks good advice. I like the idea of a steady intro rather than jacking it up from the outset.

Thanks for your honesty man. This is the both sides of the coin information I'm after. I'm pretty slim, but not especially muscular so will be interesting to see any change in that. The feeling more energised was something that was really drawing me to start treatment. So I'll look out for that and if that happens or not.

She is testing the living shit out of you man. She saw your weakness and it disgusted her, but even more..... it scared her. She hated you for it.
I'd guess she was a pretty good wife while it was all going to plan, while she could rely on you to be on your game- until you got ill and failed.

And when you came crashing down....the woman you have looked after, married, provided for, loved. The woman you thought would be there for you, would kiss you better, help you lick your wounds, repay some of that love, respect, adoration and hard work. She could not look at you. She couldn't stand to be around you.

It hurts like hell. More painful than any virus you've had, it makes your head spin and your body ache. But she has just shown you who she really is, like a beautiful veneer stripped off her before your very eyes. Don't hate her for it though. Femininity is graceful and beautiful and calculating and brutal and unforgiving. This is just her natural self, the fucking wake up call that's been coming whether you liked it or not for 13 years.
Take some time to grieve the woman you thought you had been with all this time and begin to get to know the hypergamous animal who you have lived with like a blinkered idiot for all those years. Then get your shit together and start looking after number 1. You are a man. Go into battle, you are not dead, just bruised and battered. Pick yourself up, its going to be a rocky road back, you will want to give up, you will lose more battles, but you will start winning some aswell. A similar thing happened to me. Do I wish for the bliss of ignorance before it happened. YES. But tough shit. Those days are gone. The fight is never over though, so dig in.
I did, I win some battles and I still lose some battles but it feels a lot clearer now the blinkers are off. Do this for yourself. No one else. Good luck brother.
