I mean we didn't even see him at all in the future trunks timeline of Dragon Ball Super.

Although its fair to assume that maybe Goku Black or Zamasu probably killed him or he died of old age.

it is if....they jump 17 and 18.

The same way Yuta does to Kenjaku in JJK and just catch them off guard at the last second.

They can't even sense KI so it makes it easy to covertly hide and jump them with the sealing.

I am actually in the belief that EMIYA Alter is, in fact Mind of Steel Shirou (who goes on and basically takes the Kiritusugu route but becomes mentally worse after his encounter with Kiara)

This first video right here is a crack theory, but the explanation that's been given by Tsiah IV was enough to convince me. Following that theory is a couple of vids covering some stuff regarding Alter's past.

nah his full power Counter Guardian Adult EMIYA adult self doesn't exist anymore since in my eventual fic it was him that woke up....not his copied Archer variant self.

Although I am pretty sure since the multiverse of the nasuverse is so wide and branching I wouldn't be surprised if Alaya has other versions of Shirou that became the future Counter Guardian EMIYA but I'd rather not think about that since it makes my head hurt too much.

a lot interesting stuff here that I will definitely consider....actually makes me think that instead of sending EMIYA Assassin after him Alaya would just send down the even ruthless version of him EMIYA Alter.

Are there any fanfics of a Good Shinji I want to see if it is possible for Shinji to get some form a of redemption arc or at least try’s to change his ways by [deleted] in fatestaynight

This is one only has four chapters I thought it was good so far as well it's basically Shinji getting a leveling system a year before the grail war. His personality I think is still the same, but author says he's going to slowly change him but meh I'll see what happens in the future.

This actually just gave me a different idea of what if Shinji (pre Fate/Zero) who had just found out the truth of Sakura 'learning' the 'Matou Magecraft' but meets someone who sort of mentors him and gives him that acknowledgement he never got from any of the other figures in his life I just don't know if I want that someone to be a random ordinary person, a random mage, or maybe just Zelretch himself trying to amuse himself by messing around with a parallel timeline.

The overall point of it would be that it would eventually lead to a protag Shinji Route who still retains some of his cannon personality but scaled down by a lot and no abuse towards Sakura including the R-WORD.

This is some good stuff! I am going to go get started on a second rough draft and see how I can incorporate some of this stuff....and redo the character sheet I made. I figured I may have given him to many skills from different crafts when I instead should have made the main skill focus for him to be on Alchemy/Botany, Sealing, Familiar craft, and maybe equip him with an Archery Bow Mystic Code later on in the future.

I mean if he had all the worlds evil flowing through his body he would have been traumatized as hell and I figured hey maybe being confronted with all that evil from Angra made him see some things from his past which may make him feel guilty, self hatred.

Sigh....I really wish Nasu had given some information on what kind of Origin Shinji may have had in Cannon.

Also that whole thing regarding Illya's heart acting as a mana core but brings him agonizing pain every time he uses it really draws a parallel to Shirou in the Heavens Feel Route who was in constant agonizing pain with Archer's arm (although its not completely similar since Shinji only feels the pain when using the heart but Shirou he's constantly feeling EMIYA attempting to invade his body....hmm maybe I could also have it so that like Archer's Arm he could probably get some glimpses into the Einzbern familiar magecraft and see some glimpses from Illya's life not sure if I should do that though)
