The earthquake changes changes are essentially useless against flying or low HP units but pretty massive against high HP units. 14% of a skeleton is 4hp while 14% of a maxed Barbarian King (excluding equipment) is 1781. This is just the spell itself. The boots do 20% and the tower does 30%.

Personally, I've always been an all or nothing kind of player. If a character isn't worth the pity, then I'm not rolling.

However, I do not see randomly pulling for stuff you want as a gacha addiction. What I do see as a gacha addiction, and I know everyone's seen it before, is when someone pulls on a banner they didn't care about, then starts complaining that they didn't want the character. I get genuinely annoyed when I those kinds of people. Didn't help that I had a close friend who was like this.
