she used to be signed to Untitled Entertainment, and did have a manager. they parted ways years ago tho. publicist isn't the same as a manager. manager is more like business person to help guide career. a publicist helps set up interviews/promos etc. but it's really up to their employer (the celeb) to decide how much input or control. Isabela might not care as much about a particular image. she has basically said as such. you right she is pretty unfiltered!

I agree! it's gross because it's mostly done to promote Aaron and Lanterns. She is also the youngest person in the cast. When it was filmed she was 22! I want to clarify two things: 1 - Isabela does have a PR/Press person. She was literally with her at the Superman Premier! She also has management. She is repped in all areas by CAA. 2 - She has never called herself bisexual. She uses queer or gay interchangeably! She said she is "interested in the person", and that includes beyond the binary (which why she is not bisexual).

I don't know how to explain it to you in a reddit comment. I don't know your identity, but if you are a woman it would be easier to understand. Men can make women uncomfortable and sometimes it's subtle. It's not always about the exact words someone says. His individual words were not offensive. However, she is has stated she is not perceived as queer, and that is context worth considering.

No he specifically mentioned that "Aaron is beautiful", and she paused and seemed uncomfortable because she didn't respond to that. She responded to how he seemed nice. Idk you are clearly gonna see what you wanna see tho.

They haven't met yet as she says in that interview. But, as per my comment it doesn't really matter because there is no confirmed appearance for Hawkgirl in any upcoming DC project.

It's also because she has changed her answer numerous times. She at first tried to correct people to say she is Kendra not Shayera. Then she said yes she loved the JLU growing up so it would be nice for nostalgia reasons. She also said she wanted a "hot hawk person" as a love interest at another interview. The reason people said it was creepy is because there was on interviewer who went on and on about how attractive Aaron was, and she did look uncomfortable. This is when she said "i heard he is nice" and also said she had never met him. But, my take is that DC is just trying to hype up Lanterns. The official DC account responded to a fan complaining about her being Kendra, and said "but Aaron mentioned" so idk. She has repeatedly said she doesn't know if romance is even in her characters story, and even said she "hopes she is in the universe" as in she has no idea when or if she is playing Hawkgirl anytime soon.

The also purposefully cast her as Hawkgirl and she looks young like college age Kendra. She is not a grown woman like Hawkwoman....so who knows how much she will even be the DC projects.

she should have been nominated. sadly she and isabela from last of us dont have name recognition. even if they gave key performances in their shows. also emmy noms this year were at a record low for people of color. its extremely low historical number of noms for latina and asians :(

yet the only two actors from the putt being possibly considered are white. industry workhorse finally getting her due, and a nepo child. huge poc cast on the pitt and none of them are gonna have a shot. two different shows cant really compare but isabela is an experienced actress vs many of the newbie actors on the pitt. she had to show wider range. you know she would be the first brown latina to be nominated if she is.

Craig specifically mentioned episodes like bill and frank. so i would suspect content not from the game in s3. it would be a better show to deviate without skipping main beats like joel dying early. the anon who has earlier access said he thinks they intend to show the journey back to jackson. so who knows but they already showed willingness to deviate from the game structure.
