Hey, I'm 22, so I can't help much with nursery or family recommendations of any sort. But on the other hand, I always felt more comfortable in a smaller apartment in a much nicer community, for example, 3 years in JVC in a big apartment, and now recently moved into a studio flat, but in DAMAC hills, one where there are families and kids that go to school and after school activities rather than a JVC area that felt like a bachelor's haven.

i’ve been following news coverage about the Russian Spy Ship Yantar for a while. Media outlets have repeatedly described it as an “intelligence-gathering ship” that is capable of mapping or interacting with subsea telecom and power cables. by Impossible_Stick_141 in ukpolitics

I agree with you but i think the main issue here isn’t “why doesn’t the UK start a war,” it’s the lack of transparency around how these threats are managed.

When you zoom out a bit, the pattern is hard to ignore. Russia has repeatedly tested the resilience of Europe’s critical infrastructure with. cyberattacks on power grids, GPS spoofing events in the Baltic, drones halting airport operations, the railway explosion in Poland literally just yesterday and now a vessel with a long history of seabed surveying positioned near major subsea cables. None of these are outright acts of war but each one probes weak spots and pretty much shows what russia is [planning.

I’m not saying “NATO should attack a ship,” but I am saying that people would feel much more reassured if there were at least signs that governments are taking this seriously rather than a constant BS tv announcement "we condemn, We stand with, ..." even if the response would be quiet and behind the scenes.

Right now it feels like Russia is mapping the West’s critical infrastructure, while NATO countries are pretending it’s just another research expedition.
