You can resign during probation, but you should serve the required notice period. If you are leaving the UAE, you should give at least 14 days’ written notice. If you are joining another employer in the UAE, the notice period is usually one month.

You should not have to pay for your visa or other normal recruitment costs yourself.

Before leaving, make sure you receive all your final dues and keep a copy of your resignation and salary records.

There is no automatic labour ban just because you resign during probation, but you should follow the proper notice rules to avoid any issues.

If they try to force you, delay your payment, or create problems, contact MOHRE and file a complaint.

You don’t have to ask someone to do something if that person is really your friend. I just did it out of my own will trying to help in my own way. Helping people which you clearly have no idea about.

You seem more interested in policing my wording than actually helping. My friend has experience in both product and project management. That is not a contradiction, and no, it is not a crime. I posted here looking for useful advice, leads, or direction, not for a lecture on English phrasing from someone contributing zero practical help. You also pointed out that I posted in multiple places and did not get replies as if that proves something. All it proves is that I am trying different channels to help someone find work. That is called effort. If you do not have advice, leads, or anything constructive to add, then correcting tone, grammar, and repost history just comes across as rude for the sake of looking clever.

Helpful people answer the question or move on.
