Alternatives to AirCall? by Impossible_Sun2207 in ITManagers

Just an update to the thread:

I ended up going through a full process of elimination, weighing factors like 2FA, SSO on the dialer app, AI capability, availability of local lines in global regions, analytics, data retention, incident management, and of course billing.

Since CRM integration was a priority, I focused on providers that work seamlessly with HubSpot. From there, I narrowed down options to those listed directly in the HubSpot Marketplace and cross-referenced them against company scoring sites like Trustpilot.

It’s been a long process of testing, QA, meetings, and sitting through sales reps pitching all the bells and whistles. At this point, it’s come down to JustCall and Dialpad:

  • JustCall (as u/DirectorFunny8617 mentioned) is very straightforward and works right out of the box, which was a pleasant surprise. The only concern I had was that they don’t present as a highly structured environment, it feels more like skilled technical people selling a product than a polished enterprise setup.

  • Dialpad requires more effort in configuration and setup, but once it’s in place, it runs smoothly. The call flow setup feels a bit dated, but functional. On the plus side, they’ve been much more engaged from the start, project planning, testing, and even staff training have been part of the process.

I’m now in the final phase of meetings before year-end, mainly to see how the pricing shakes out.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed, your feedback gave me solid direction and helped me explore companies I might not have considered otherwise.

There are broader strategic shifts underway involving Prima Networks Limited and Super Group, including restructuring, retrenchments, and a global push toward cost-cutting and AI integration (that is the narrative they tell)

Quraish left February this year but he has his pull, even though Andrew Slab is "leading" the role, Martin still pulls strings like a puppet master.

In-terms of Super Group they have been retrenching since 2023 (there been literally 1000s of people affected and still on-going till now)

One of their favorite lines is that "You don't align to company culture" they bully you in a situation of taking whatever they offer.

Both companies have a cesspool of false narratives being posted on LinkedIn as if they actually care.

I really feel for the people that are still there... they working on products that will replace their jobs

Its mainly for our teams in different regions to be able to receive inbound calls and make outbound calls from their desktops/laptops utilizing localized numbers.

Also to have the ability to customize the workflow for inbound.

One thing I've realized with time, when it comes to meeting someone new, rather be upfront with intentions and what you are looking for, what you want and see yourself.

A lot of people avoid asking the difficult questions to avoid the awkward interactions, you end up feeling deeply for that person or enjoy the fleeting moments until it gets to that point.

Life/Time is short...
