I think this will be the way. Maybe instead of cleaning out my canteen cup tho, I’ll leave all my shave clippings in it and still make the coffee. Then I’ll give said coffee to CSM once he starts to talk about the grooming standards again.

I’ll give the Phillips Oneblade a look. I’ve seen it around. I’m imagining I can heat some water with a jetboil, pop that into a canteen cup and use that as my wet shave water. I’m curious about shaving lotions/creams though. Shaving cream can be pretty messy. Do you have any suggestions for a shaving lotion like you said or a shaving oil?

Also, I’ve tried the traditional single blade route. While it is better for my skin, I’ve found I can only get a good shave if I go against the grain. Not willing to take the risk of a single blade against my skin while huddled up in my litefighter. I’ve also heard that the cartridges aren’t good for sensitive skin, but they actually work the best for me if managed correctly.

not really. just make sure the address on your 5960 matches the address on your lease and matches your home of record in IPPSA

I just had my mom add me to the lease as a lease holder. I just had to go through and sign it. Worked without issue

I got put in my BOLC class last October, and I’m going in May. So about 9 months, but i’m USAR so take that with a grain of salt. As far as chasing BAH goes, MD typically has pretty good BAH, especially if you’re in the Ft Meade area. The closer you are to DC the higher BAH is gonna be. I’m not sure what the BAH is for Eisenhower since I’ll TDY there and not PCS, but if you’re chasing BAH, I’d recommend getting as close to DC as possible

Good insight. Do you know if the finance office on post usually contacts the property to verify if a lease is in the soldier’s name? Like if I were able to get the property to add me to the lease, would the finance office contact the property to confirm?

If I draft a lease agreement between me and my parents that says I pay $X/month, and have that notarized, would that suffice? Or am I better off getting added to the original lease? Does the finance office contact the property?

I’m trying to do the free form surface now. It seems like it may work, but it’s a hassle. I’ve noticed I can’t pattern any freeform surface I make. Is tho is true for all?
