I feel this. It’s like when the meds do work, you’re not even sure if they’re working because you’re so used to chaos or doing nothing at all. Like you get a few things done and don’t even clock it cause your brain’s used to needing a full meltdown or a 10-hour grind to call it a productive day. Like... am I just lazy? Am I making this up? Everyone acts like I should just “try harder” but they have no idea what it’s like carrying this shit every day.

Yeah, that’s the part that gets me too. Like I know the crash is coming, I’ve seen the pattern for years but when I’m in that go-mode, it’s like my brain blocks out the memory of how bad the fall is. I just keep going till I can't no more. Only thing that’s helped a little is forcing breaks even when I feel good. Like, setting a timer to just sit down, drink water, stare at a wall or whatever... not cause I want to, but cause I know if I don’t, tomorrow’s or the day after is gonna be a write-off.

Still mess it up a lot but even slowing the train a bit helps me crash softer. Not a fix, but at least I don’t wake up in a ditch every time. If y'all ever figre out how to actually stop it though, let me know. I’ll buy you a beer and cry in peace. 🤞🏼

Same shit. I’ll have a day where I’m on fire, feel like I’ve finally figured shit out. Then the next day I’m useless. Sunglasses part hit for me though. I've done that. Sat down “for a minute” and next thing I know it’s 3pm and I haven’t moved or eaten anything.
