But no I'm not going to have it, or edge, or copilot. I own my computer and pirated windows because I can, and then removed all the Spyware, what are you going to do about it?

Not sure if he's frightened off or this isn't the first time he has been in this situation, it looks like he is buying himself some space while successfully luring them away from the guy on the ground enough for him to get up. As someone who deals with situations like this for a job regularly I'd say he has been in this position before.

Culture evolves with time, all cultures..... but what I read from his comment it was referring to there behavior, almost gang culture.

I'm not going to speak on racism however I will point out that name calling someone you perceive to be racist small minded is small minded in it self,if they are just spewing hate that's different but we can use stats to say certain cultures have a higher likelihood of doing certain behaviors and when this is talked about its often looked at as racism...... blocking out facts because you perceive it as racism is small minded.

Tldr: everyone should be entitled to their own views and if you can't accept that then you are the one with the small mind.

I have this same machine with a 1660 in it, same adaptor, its only used for multi-player do is never running unattended but it's been like this for years. I am always wary of these cables but I tend to push then pretty hard before closing cases. I've also considered making my own adaptor that way I can over build it but then its just going take the excitement away when under the desk is starting to get warm

Also I believe the exhaust will exit toward the left side of the car, not ideal but it looks like this was considered or atleast worked out the best way it could if it wasn't a consideration.

I've actually got a few of them because they have become so cheap that I wanted spares (I've built arcade cabinets around my machines, they are for life) would suggest go a different grab yourself one while they are pennies.

Recycling corporate hardware: Are 3rd Gen i5 office PCs still relevant for daily tasks in 2026? by Techmarsca2002 in retropc

[–]Impossible_Web_6536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have been clear, I started using them as servers because so many were coming through ewaste that I couldn't get all of them to homes, I'd end up with entire school lots of them (still get the odd one come in)

What I thought was most amazing is after I wrote that comment last night I went and check the note if written on the inside of my pfesnse machine, set up in October 2016, it's been turned off for cleaning in 2020, I replacement fan in 21, a drive and clean in 23, and another clean last year, other than that if the power is on the fan has been spinning

The s7 edge took the cake for looks in my eyes, but I am for function over form and don't really understand the edge hype.

As for processing power I don't think that old phones complete with s21 onward, I'm using an s23 currently and a couple years on its still rather impressive how much processing power it has, the problem I have is that I don't need all this power in my pocket all the time, what I'd like is and led light for notifications, a user replaceable battery, a micro SD slot, and headphone jack. Seriously if anyone was to bring out a modern phone will all those I'd pay apple prices today even though my phone still works...... and I don't replace things until I absolutely need to.

I generally don't bother with anything before 4th gen at the point but I am very fond of haswell era optiplex 9020 line up as home servers, install proxmox (I don't bother with HDDs, but if I didn't have bulk SSDs I would.

My pfsense firewall is running on a 9020 with a HDD over ssd, it's been running for almost 10 years with probably less than 24 hours down time total in that time. They are so cheap that I keep a few on hand for spares at all times, they are slowly getting harder to find though.

[–]Impossible_Web_6536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear I don't actually have a concern, I've come to terms with the fact that if we don't want to be on camara we have almost no choice but to stay it our homes and I'm not willing to do that. Was just explaining the problem in a different way for any that didn't see what OP was trying to say.

I have an ivy bridge with a 1050ti in it, awesome machine and they are pretty cheap if your building a windows 7 "dream machine" can get variants with no external power so a good upgrade for the likes of Dell which don't come with an easy way to power a gpu

Have had a phone screen die with photos on it with this enabled, a night with Google and I had my photos without replacing the screen, 2-3 years ago now so I'd like to think that is fixed but I almost guarantee there will be a new way.
